The final countdown has begun with the new season kick-off now less than 24-hours away.

Earlier the week the ScoutCast grew gathered as the clock ticked down, with Jonty, Andy and Luke joining myself to tackle a raft of perfectly targeted questions from you – the community.

Each of us take turns to reveal our current line-ups, while the collection of queries allowed us to put each of the four positions under the microscope. On occasions, we even broke from the ScoutCast tradition to provide some definitive answers.

Pre-season gremlins struck as I dropped out in full flow on Paul Pogba, but I managed to return to steer the ship towards its final destination – the first weekend preview of the new campaign.

It’s good to be back.

    Hi Guys

    Just want some advice on my team to see if i could tweek it anywhere

    Dawson, Daniels, Cedric (Hünemeier, Rangel)
    KDB, Willian, Pogba, Redmond (Loftus cheek)
    Lukaku, Jesus, Lacazette

    I can downgrade redmond to iwobi i am just not sure on his playing time but if i do this then i can get Aguero

      Well the main risk is the lack of Spurs forwards, but then you have some firing power to make up for it. I also don't know what the Cedric situation is right now.

    My brain is melting when I look at my defence. This is how it stands:

    Foster-Elliot
    Kola-Bertrand-Daniels-Trent-Long

    I'm not sure about Kola and neither about WBA Def so I might downgrade him to Davies and upgrade Foster, any thoughts or tips? Thanks!

        Not sure about Redmond, but fixtures make him worth a gamble. Mounie is also a gamble as Huddersfield will struggle to score, J Rod would be a safer bet. Carroll over Loftus Cheek for the 5th mid
