Two Gameweeks down and already the dilemmas are building; the siren song of the Wildcard button is calling.

Failing big hitters are the major bone of contention as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me for the second ScoutCast of the season.

We give our verdicts on Spurs talisman Harry Kane, while also assessing the fall-out from Manchester City and, in particular, the shot-shy Kevin De Bruyne.

Driven by another round of community questions, we also chew over The Pogba vs Mkhitaryan debate and the big Bournemouth bail out, before previewing Gameweek 3.

Oh, and after his ten point return on the Aaron Mooy investment, we wrestle to prevent Jonty dropping his name into the conversation at every opportunity. I think I counted two. That’s a win for everyone involved.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    DDG - Elliot
    Ake - Kolasinac - Yoshida - Hegazi - Hunemeier
    KDB - Zaha - Salah - Willian - Carroll
    Kane - Lukaku(C) - Quaner

2FT, haven't logged in for two weeks so what did I miss and who should I transfer in and out?

Zaha is injured. Kane August drought continues. Consensus here is captain Kane this week...

You've missed a lot! Zags needs to go and Man U mids look the best bets right now! You may need to get creative depending on funds! There's also some value picks in the 5.5-7 range if you wanna save a transfer for the IB, everything else looks pretty solid to be fair. A lot of Ake haters but he may just knick a goal with that big head soon!

Crazy to go Trippier over Davies if you can afford the latter?

Do we even know if Trippier is gonna lose his spot instantly after international break? A great performance against Burnley and I could see him holding his spot for a bit longer.

How nailed is Davies -when is Rose due to return? That 0.2 extra could come in handy no doubt

      Too many ifs.
      Trippier is currently first choice.
Davies is currently 2nd choice (Rose is first).
That is the truth as as of this moment.

If you only have one free you may wanna save and monitor. 2 frees going into the break would be really nice and you may wanna assesss Richy/Jesé/moot at this point. One of these guys scores and you will make money on him over the break.

I'm thinking of doing this for GW6 and onwards:

Do we think KdB is going to drop?
I still stand by my choice of trading him away.
EVEN if he plays well, he will still have to recover from the -85 he's at now, while Mane going up tonight.

Points wins leagues, not team value. Get/keep the player you think will score the most points.

It really isn't. It's of very little relevance.

Most good managers will reach 106m after Xmas anyway without chasing. And that's more than enough. The average finishing TV in the top 12 in the OR last season was around 104m.

    Hello!

Looking at some team comparison heatmaps I noticed an important problem that should be solved as soon as possible. I also sent an e-mail to the Scout so I hope they see it. So, select 'Chances Created Conceded (Assists in Green)’ for a specific team then apply either the home/away filter for all matches. Have a look at the dots being shown. Then select ‘Chances Created Conceded Heatmap’. You will notice the 'Chances Created Conceded (Assists in Green)’ does not correspond to the corresponding heatmap. I started looking more in depth and I noticed that the heatmap actually corresponds to the reverse home/away fixtures. So if you initially selected 'All Home Matches’ the heatmap that you are shown is for the ‘All Away Matches’ and vice-versa. So there is either a problem with the heatmaps being inversed or the ‘Chances Created Conceded (Assists in Green)’ inversed.
I hope you understand. Hope you fix this as soon as possible!

Yeah, it seems when you apply home and away filters to the Chances Created Conceded query, it's missing some events. Seems fine when selecting all matches, its only when you slice. I think I know the issue. Good spot - thanks. We will get a fix scheduled for Monday.
