Swansea’s fine 3-2 win over Arsenal concludes the weekend action, leaving tomorrow evening’s clash between Wigan and City as the only unfinished business in the Gameweek. Time then, for us to extract the key statistics from our Members area and make a stab at the destination of the Fantasy Premier League bonus points…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

You cant predict whose gonna score for Chelsea rite now , they are struggling to score.
And Studge has gone off the boil in recent past .

Using my WC this GW , so wanna chuck him off

You can't predict who is going to score for anyone right now anyway. Sturridge is class, I'd keep. That's my two cents, take it for what it's worth.

Probably better off going super cheap like Fletcher/Morrison then use saved money on improving other areas untill Ba is back

I understand the logic behind Lindegaard as a GK, the only problem for me is he takes up a ManU place. In my case where I have Evans and Valencia, I wouldnt be able to bring Rooney in if I wanted without losing a keeper or a-n-other.

Just a little side comment really.

I know it's boring but I'm sticking with Krul/Vorm. A couple of tricky fixtures but on the whole they rotate well and both seem to be able to keep CS especially at home. Also good for save points.

Well, apart from GW22 Vorm rotates well with Al-Habsi until GW35, and even though it's Wigan they have fairly decent fixtures. Other than that I'd say Stockdale but he's in danger of losing his place unless you can afford to upgrade to Schwartzer later.

Cheers Catmac, you're a baller. I find it interesting that you haven't mentioned Sorenson or Migno, I thought one or both of them rotate well with Vorm. Just looked at Wig's fixtures, look pretty good...Would have me doubling up with MCauley at one point, and that may prove fata for my gw lol.

You got to wait for the transfer window to close. If he brings in Samba and Alex, for the fixtures it's worth a punt. If he only manages to address the centre forward and midfield stay away

Lost on previous page (thanks to the two of you who have commented)

My main problems are now Ade and Hibbert – both of whom are going to drop at some point this week (Ade probably by .2-.3 but it will cost me the same). So I don’t see the point in taking a points hit for a defender (or for Ade with WIG next) I’m going to do one of them out for a couple week punt options I’ve come up with are:

    A) Hibbert > Huth
    B) Hibbert > Riise
    C) Adebayor > Torres
    B) Adebayor > Bent

      Huth...

Has great attacking potential from set pieces and I think he takes a few free kicks too

Hmm but Stoke have MUN before I'll play my WC where Fulham have NEW. Thinking about it myself a bit more for the defender it seems Riise is the stronger pick.

Honestly, I'm feeling risky. And If you want a gamble that may pay off beautifully, try C. If you want to stay on the safe side....Try B number 2, although I'd go Sturr instead of Bent.

      B or C for me.

If you think you'll be short of defenders I'd go for Riise, but if you can manage without, then Torres looks like he could be a good punt (he'll get sent off next match now).

Thanks man. It's my first season playing FF and my mates are doing everything possible to screw with each other. For instance they grabbed the one oke's phone when he wasn't looking and changed his captain to ferguson. Anyway, as I suspected, they were attempting to do the same to me, all loudly proclaiming the wording was wrong, and GW24 was the last week for use of the WC.

i like it. you could potentially save a bit on riise though (imo is not as much of an attacking threat to justify his price when there are other fulham defenders much cheaper)

I was planning on keeping Vermaelen all the way through his injury, but watching them against Swansea has given me doubts. Liverpool's fixtures dry up a little, and they may be forced to play without 6 Defenders.

I'd either keep Jones, or downgrade him to Evans, or another budget Defender.

Dimitar Berbatov has allegedly been spotted today on a plane to Frankfurt - he is believed to be negotiating a return move to Bayer 04 Leverkusen. It's not a source that's known to me, and Frankfurt wouldn't be the nearest airport for Leverkusen, but Berbatov's advisor Ivan Dobrinow said on Boxing Day that Leverkusen had expressed a definite interest. Outside chance too of Bayern Munich taking a punt on him as back-up for Gomez.

Hoping other people's players don't score is always a rather unproductive attitude, firstly it's setting yourself up for disappointment and secondly it's not the friendliest thing ever is it? 😉

I don't have Silva but if he scores tomorrow he will still be a real life legend, no matter what he does to me in FPL.
