        I'm getting him in DeckyBhoy, and shall give him the armband. I've been all set on doing it for the last week, the fact he looked quite sharp gives me a little more confidence. No doubt he'll give me 2 points (after doubling) as he has done so many times in the last 18 months or so, but try again I shall!

          no not really, FA cup replays are played 10 days later which is usually a tuesday or wednesday (the initial fixture being on a sat)

        UK often gets heavy snowfall as late as Feb / March, in fact 2010's December madness was quite rate. We'll definitely get snow in the next couple of months, just no idea how bad.

      I held on as long as possible with it last year as I was in the lead, am leading again so will prob do the same unless I need to make up points. There will be DGW's at some point plan ahead for them and use WC after to keep momentum could work

        I had that combo and downgraded krul to sorenson about a month ago which has definately not paid off, especially with sorenson rotting on my bench this week

      Vorm is my only keeper, I play him every week. It is not often you get such good value for a gk,4 mill for the most cs in the league. He goes no where unless injured

    Well I'm 9 points ahead in the cup, opponent has Aguero (c) - not fancying my chances.
    I also have Rooney (c) so I may technically already be out.
    I'm actually more annoyed about the penalty he missed than the assists, if they weren't his assists then fair enough

    Does anyone think they could consider a system where the BPs are handed out by gross performance, instead of just performance relative to the other players in that match.

    For example, if a player got 30+ PPI - 1 Bonus
    40+ PPI - 2 Bonus
    50+ PPI - 3 Bonus

    Or something similar. Carroll (did sweet FA) getting a BP when players like Rooney (2 assists), Krul (6/7 saves), Donovan (assist), Formica (goal), Lampard (goal) and so on get nothing, is a situation that could be averted?

    People who think that all Rooney non-owners want Rooney to lose his assists I must say it's not like that. I don't have Rooney in my team and still want him to get the first assist at least.

    My opponent has Welbeck and in case Rooney lose the first one it'll be given to Welbeck and I'll lose my H2H game 😐

        yeah, but ive already got Vorm so not overly keen on doubling swansea defence because of fixtures...

        Is it worth getting Evans? Will Jones go into MF when Smalling returns?

      I'm having the same issue with Shotton and my WC. At 4.0 playing out of position, seems like great value and allows for an upgrade elsewhere.

      Excellent.....Sturridge is a minor concern right now but should come good again

      RVP and Aguero is spot on

      Mids are near perfect

      Not sure on Lindegaard - might not want to spend time transferring keeps later when he gets benched whenever that is

      Not sure on Shawcross - maybe Cahill depending on Chelsea appearences

      I like it

    how about this for a beast WC team.

    Krul , Mignolet
    Richards, Kelly, Caulker, Enrique, Gabiddon
    Valencia, Dempsey, Bale, Silva, Walters
    RVP, Aguero, Grahams

    the obvious weakness is Grahams but do not want to downgrade Walters (good home games).

    Thoughts?

      Can't see anything wrong with it. Now that The Yak is banned I might also have Graham myself but i'll pick Aguerro (i have a lot of dosh in the bank) if nothing goes wrong with him tonight.

      I'd go Valencia & Crouch personally. Probably depends who else is in your team.
