This evening’s Members article brings with it a new approach. With winter wildcards being flourished at a furious pace, we’ve put together a new article template to run the rule over a couple of very topical transfer targets: Stephane Sessegnon and Jonathan Walters.
Both players have received heavy investment ahead of the weekend. Sessegnon is facing a couple of enticing home clashes with Swansea and Norwich, while Walters, with four home fixtures in the next six Gameweeks (WBA, SUN, SWA, NOR), is also racking up the transfers on the back of a home average 6.8 points per game in Fantasy Premier League (FPL).
In terms of Fantasy output, there is very little between them. Walters is the pricier, by 6.7 to 6.6, and has returned a single point more than Sessegnon, by 95 to 94. The only real difference is in ownership, with the Stoke man currently selected by 16% of Fantasy managers compared to Sessegnon’s 13%. The latter has attracted the most suitors of late, though, rising by 0.4 since the end of gameweek 19.
Using both the Opta stats and our very own ICT Index available to our Members, we examine their last few gameweeks, offering a direct comparison between the two players’ performances.
