This evening’s Members article brings with it a new approach. With winter wildcards being flourished at a furious pace, we’ve put together a new article template to run the rule over a couple of very topical transfer targets: Stephane Sessegnon and Jonathan Walters.

Both players have received heavy investment ahead of the weekend. Sessegnon is facing a couple of enticing home clashes with Swansea and Norwich, while Walters, with four home fixtures in the next six Gameweeks (WBA, SUN, SWA, NOR), is also racking up the transfers on the back of a home average 6.8 points per game in Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

In terms of Fantasy output, there is very little between them. Walters is the pricier, by 6.7 to 6.6, and has returned a single point more than Sessegnon, by 95 to 94. The only real difference is in ownership, with the Stoke man currently selected by 16% of Fantasy managers compared to Sessegnon’s 13%. The latter has attracted the most suitors of late, though, rising by 0.4 since the end of gameweek 19.

Using both the Opta stats and our very own ICT Index available to our Members, we examine their last few gameweeks, offering a direct comparison between the two players’ performances.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Don't see Walters and Sess as a choice between - I have them both, or "Le Deux" as Sess would probably say.

Had Walters from the start and am amazed how cheap he is. OOP playing striker, and on penalties. He does play for Stoke, I suppose. But could be worse...he could be Crouch.

    Thoughts on Valencia and Dyer?
And what about Bent, Roonpig and Sturridge?

I'm only going with sturridge out of all of those in my wc team. Utd's fixtures are awful, bent's not for me but could be a good choice, dyer's in a purple patch but has generally lacked end product his whole career so shouldn't be able to maintain, much rather the new lad who's name i can't spell or remember if you want a cheap swansea mid.

Thanks a lot, you're probably right about dyer, especially with these next away fixtures.
I'm still stuck over Bent :/
Sigurdsson does look good, cheers 🙂

yes, where's the fun of Silva and his constant stream of 6 and 7, it's boring. You never know what Nani will score, it's much more fun.

I think the authors/members need to discuss one of the great dilemmas this Season....

Vorm. To keep or not. That is the question.

Currently the Vorminator sits on a massive 99 points and for me is this seasons Ben Foster. Low cost, high points. But just like Foster whose points dried up about now as fixtures toughened up.

Enter sun CHE wba NOR stoke wig MAN.C ful EVE tot for the next 10.I can see max 2/3 cleanies and whilst he will pick up save points,I thnk the time may??????? be to say thanks for all the points

It's a tough one. Swansea have looked better away from home recently (3/9 CS have come away now) and their away fixtures are good but that defeats the point of having Krul and Vorm who after this week have perfect home/away rotation for the rest of the season.

Worse you can do, transfering vorm out, is get same number of clean sheets, but you can get two GK-s who rotate well and thus maximize your chances,I think it's a sound idea

No space! I'd like them both but prefer having a 4th big hitter in midfield and a 5th cheapie to sit on the bench unless I have to play him. I don't like having to make a difficult decision every week on which of the front 8 to bench.

ok lads help me out with a transfer idea (not wc until after GW23) I have 3 yellow flags, one red as well

    Vorm

    Raylor, Jones, Brown

    Silva, Bale, Nani, Donovan

    RvP, Thingy, Sturridge

    Fridel, McAuley, BAE, Tiote

Only 1 free and 0,9 in bank

Odem was a punt that failed and ideally I want him gone, but McAuley, Jones and Brown are yellow flagged, Tiote is red flagged and who knows with Sturridge

Maybe wait until Saturday morning to see if there if some of your doubtful players are expected to play. Agree that ideally Odem is the player to go but you want to get 11 on the pitch. Odem to Fletcher on Saturday morning if you can.

OMG, I really want to get Huth in for the next 6 games for Enrique but getting Enrique back later if I wanted to would cost me 0.5 more than I sell him for.

Head is telling me to stick with enrique but cant stop thinking about Huth, what to do??????

Huth will score better so sub him in. Would rather have the points plus huth price probably rise in coming weeks

      Anyone else you could lose?

I was gonna do that but realised Vorm only rotates with Enrique for the next 5 or 6 games, so im going with Kenny/Vorm.

i was going to get of Enrique last week on wc, but because of value I kept, very nice 9pts, I would keep him, His points tally over the season, makes it a no brainer .

WC and line-up for this week. Any thoughts welcome (however severe)?

    Sorensen; Kelly; Richards; Enrique
    Moses; Walters; Dempsey; Silva
    VP (v); Aguero (c); Sturridge

Subs Mignolet; G Cahill; Ben Arfa; Caulker

Why the rush for Cahill? Hes not that good, and will probably suffer early rotation as well as Chelsea's fixtures not being great

I thought Cahill's price would rise and talk was he wouldn't going to CH unless he got game time (to help his Euros chance), option I suppose of O'Shea (or other suggestions)?

+1, sturridge and Ben Arfa not nailed on either. may be relying on bench, or 1pt from Stu

      Clark -> Evans
