Next up, Newcastle United and Liverpool bring the curtain down on Gameweek 7 in the 4.30pm kick-off at St James’ Park.

The big news is that Roberto Firmino drops to the visitors’ bench for the first time this season.

With just one goal in his last five league outings, the Brazilian was second only to Sergio Aguero for transfers out last week, with over 266,000 parting company.

Today’s news looks likely to signal further sales, barring a virtuoso outing off the bench.

Firmino was the sixth top captain option for the Gameweek and the most popular from today’s late match. Over 128,000 backed him with the armband, with Mo Salah (115,000) next in line.

Interest in Philippe Coutinho is on the rise, though – he was subject to more than 186,000 transfers in after following up a 13-point haul at Leicester with a midweek Champions League strike at Spartak Moscow.

And lest we forget Sadio Mane – the only player to score in each of the first three matches prior to his early dismissal at Man City in Gameweek 4.

For Newcastle, Matt Ritchie’s creativity could profit against a defence that’s shipped 10 goals in their three away matches.

The Magpies’ midfielder has assisted three of Newcastle’s last four home goals, earning 17 points in the last two in front of his own supporters.

Up against the Reds’ prolific attack, there’s no surprise to see than Rob Elliot is the most benched player for the Gameweek, named as a sub by more than 1.1m owners.

Gomes should have been off. Ref mucked up. Not booking him for the pull back on Atsu was poor.

Utter and wholehearted apology to the fella I laughed at yesterday who said to bring in Monreal and Bellerin.

    Well played, WELL played.

    Rank 400K

    0.8 itb

    Foster, (Elliot)

    Kola, Jones, Bavies (Mbemba, Long)

    Salah, Mikhi, Ramsey, Davis (Carroll)

    Kane, Kaku, Firmino

I'm lost on what to do with this lot guys ....

ManU, Liverpool not great fixtures, Chelsea and City coverage needed for next few gameweeks ....... any suggestions?

Rank in top 10%, not shabby.

WC keep Kola, Jones, Bavis, Kane. Get Luiz, Coutinho, D. Silva, Morata (if fit or Jesus with itb for Morata or Kun) and Vardy if possible. Cheap fill that play on teams that have decent fixtures coming.

I'm debating willdcarding here... feel like I need Kane and there's many players I don't want.

    Foster
    Alonso* Bailly* Bertrand* Monreal
    Eriksen Alli* Mkhitaryan Atsu*
    Lukaku Morata

    Elliot T.Carroll Mariappa* Quaner*

    Do have 2FT though 0.5ITB.

    Any ideas?

Depends on the rest of your team. If you're asking if he's better value than similarly priced forwards, then it's hard to say. He's decent value now he's nailed, so it's up to you who you prefer. I'd probably prefer him to Laca at the moment. Morata is perhaps a safer bet if he's fit, but Jesus could also explode
