          in which case as a Dempsey and Sess owner I'm happy with that. Always planned to rotate Sess with Ben arfa anyway and Dempsey is saint Clint, patron saint of latching onto Zamora through balls...so he plays no matter what for me.

      Id rather have Valencia in than Walters, but I would think about downgrading one of your strikers to fit them both in, the mids are firing at the moment whereas the strikers are drawing blanks.

        I am downgrading Assou Ekotto to Shotton instead of Rooney to (someone else).
        Does it sound okay? I still have faith in Rooney against Stoke in Old Trafford.

    I've been holding out on using my WC cause i was top of my mini-league and was hoping to get an advantage by hanging onto it until the last week of the window...

    My nearest rival used his... brought in Sess & Dempsey & nearly doubled my score this week knocking me off the top spot in the process...

    Should i stick to my guns or play the WC now?

      Whenever you think you will get most out of it. If your team is going to look stronger this week than next, then you can wildcard next week.

        i was planning to bring in both Sess & Dempsey... looking at their fixtures for next week if i wait he could easily thrash me again...

        although i'd been hoping for some big points from Bale & VDV against wigan... but VDV looked off the pace & counting on points from both of them seems a bit hopeful in the face of the pasting i took this weekend...

        plus Nani looks like he's gonna be out now... and i've already spent my free transfer bringing Kompany in....

      you used your WC fratboy? If so, then those changes look pretty good i think
      I cant decide whether to keep my WC (and therefore stick with McClean over Sess for now) and instead use 4 points to do:
      Cabaye to Dempsey...
      (would mean benching Sturridge this week...)

    Right after a good bit of advice i re-evaluated my keepers and dropped Lindy & Sorenson (Just watched back the stoke game and Sorenson made a right hauler!

    Team now is looking like this

    Krul, Mignolet
    Kompany, Evans, Simpson, Caulker, Shotton
    Silva, Dempsey, Bale, Valencia, Sess
    Aguero, RVP, Keane (Ba after ACON)

    Still have concerns regarding the front 8 being too strong, can someone talk me in / out of it!

    Keepers rotate well, Shotton may be a bit of a risk but i do want some stoke coverage.

    Since my old doll doesn't give a shit yer gonna have to listen to/read my fantasy weekend lads.

    Bitter-sweet weekend for me. Had my WC team set out Friday night with Demps & Sess (like many more I presume) but decided against it. Spotted on Saturday morning that the money league leader had played his so was really worried. He made a weird one though- just 3 changes, Ade-Torres, Walker-BAE and Jones- Skrtel, doubling up on Liv def. So in the end I've got him by another 4, cutting his lead by 43pts so far in Jan. Good team on paper for next week barring injuries and then the WC for GW24. We'll plough on.

        I expected goals in the City vs Spurs game, and I expected Aguero to be involved in them.

        I was right in that there were goals, just Aguero wasn't involved unfortunately.

        Still had a good GW, it could've been so much better though had I stuck with Dempsey.

      I would hold for now to be honest. I know Rooney has been in poor fantasy form but if Welbeck had been a little more composed yesterday Rooney could have easily had 2 assists.

      I have Rooney and Evans. Will keep Rooney for the Stoke game then get rid I think. Evans at 4.5 is a no-brainer to keep for me as long as he keeps his spot.
      If I was wildcarding this week tho I would be putting in Valencia in and staying clear of Rooney.

      Thanks all.

      I sold Valencia for Sess this week, since I feel Sess vs Norwich > Valencia vs Stoke, and thereafter Sess has alright fixtures for a while.

      Ill probably look at getting the form Utd player in a few weeks (GW28 maybe), and get a defender at the same time. I cant see JEvans keeping too many clean sheets in the near future with their fixtures - possibly only 2 in the next 5 which isnt great...

      Almost exactly like me in every possible way, that. I'm binning him for Aguero. It's the easy and obvious move and the reason why I saved cash in the bank.

      Torres was a fun punt but even the most hardcore Chelsea/Torres supporter will admit he had a stinker against Norwich. Time to move on.
