Is now the time to give up on the premium strikers – we’re looking at you Harry – and throw our cash at a “power five” midfield?

It’s a big question that requires a crack team to answer.

Unfortunately, we only have the ScoutCast crew available, though we did manage to pull off a big loan signing to help us out.

Jay Eggersdorf – the current “live” Hall of Fame number one joins Jonty, Andy and Az as we take on the big topic of the day.

In the middle of another stunning season – Jay reveals his strategy behind his recent move to shed Kane on the back of another impressive points tally.

Then on 44 minutes, Jay’s phone is almost drained of life. Tickled by the on-camera events that follow, Jonty and Az struggle to hold it together to discuss the recruitment of Paul Pogba and the merits of West Ham investment before we look ahead to Gameweek 19.

It’s an intense 90-minutes, with the frivolity of this “festive” ScoutCast limited to silly jumpers and hats. Though we each get the opportunity to reveal our Christmas wish.

Just one wafer-thin hat-trick please Harry.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday evening. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Superb episode, 2 weeks in a row graced with FPL royalty! Jonty and AZ barely holding their laughs in whilst Mark keeps a straight-face, love the contrast! 😉

        Crap. Add-in Pogba.

For Team 1 or Team 2 will take over 3 transfer to do it. If Kane, then by GW22 he will be in.

Current team is fine for this week leave it and have 2 FT.
Tried to figure out what you should do with Chilwell and Mariappa but with Ogbonna in already it's difficult.

I got 2FT and no real important transfers to make..

Only thing I can think of is Shipping Kane out for Aguero or Coutinho out for Sane as a punt..

Or I could just waste a transfer

I'd drop Dann, awkward fixtures over the next 6. Hazard out could be an option as well, he hasn't exactly been value lately.

He might not I agree but what's he going to get..? 1 at the most. Then there is Saints and then a blank. Firms and KDB could rack up plenty by the time Kanes DGW rolls around. But you never know really and your team is really good anyway so just go with your gut.

I think Kane to Kun is a good option. Neither great form but only 1 has the fixture.

    Pope - Elliot

    Christensen - Mee - Gomez - Naughton - Mariappa

    Salah - Coutinho - Hazard - Richarlison - RLC

    Kane - Aguero - DCL

    2 FT, 0.1m itb

    A. Pope for Adrian
    B. Find a way to squeeze in Sterling / Pogba / Lukaku - the question is how.

I've got similar choice - Rooney or Glenn Murray (though I also have Silva so might be moot point). I'd prob go with what you have - Gray and Austin more chance of scoring imo.

            also benching Rooney

he has awful stats vs Chelsea and Everton will struggle, to this looks like a typical 1 pointer where he shouts and sprouts for a yellow

I do that and i play Rashford and and he isn´t even a certain starter, but if he plays about twenty minutes i think his chance ios better than Rooneys.

FFS Team News has Silva starting for City.

Still waiting for Pep's statement before pulling the transfer trigger.

Yeah, thanks anyway. Hopefully we get a clear answer.

Dont think I've mulled over a transfer choice as much as this.

If Silva's out: Morata to Augero(c)
            If Silva's in: Morata+RLC to Austin+Silva

Looks good. Not much between the 2. Masuaku is better for assists while Ogbonna is better for bonus. FWIW I went with Ogbonna because I think Masauku would be more likely to be rotated for the double because of how taxing of a position wingback is.

    Niasse or Crouch or Quaner?

Crouch begrudgingly. Options are weak. I don't really understand the sudden love for Quaner.

For a 4.5, he looked pretty active on the attacking front in the last few games, plus with Kachunga injury, will allow him to get much more game time. An assist here or there is probably enough for his price and allows to have a strong MF while still having starters upfront.

Should I sell Richarlison or Son when buying KDB/Silva.
With Sanchez back will Spurs go 5 at the back meaning Son could start off the bench.
Watford in poor form & teams marking Richarlison out of the games. He's still getting shots away but less of them.

    Thoughts & thanks.

Both not nailed, especially with the fixtures coming thick and fast. Quaner from the 2 as he is cheaper.
