The Big Numbers – Gameweek 27

We turn to the Opta numbers next and roll out our usual post-Gameweek members’ article looking at some of the standout players across the previous round of fixtures.

Sergio Aguero, Jamie Vardy and Eden Hazard’s run of goals arrive under analysis, while we also cast an eye over Spurs and Everton’s recent displays in attack.

Meanwhile, cut-price midfielders from Brighton and Watford are finding form as both sides prepare for a run of four home matches in the next six Gameweeks.

Would you not get him if he blanks? You’d still get three games out of him.

I will but if a another decent option becomes available for 31 I might get them instead or even if spurs end up playing that just cements my decision

    A) Alonso & Dunk > Van Dijk & BDavies
    B) Alonso, Son & Quaner > Robertson, Carroll & Firmino (-4)

B would mean a switch from 3-5-2 to 3-4-3, I'd then have enough funds to do Dunk > BDavies the week after.

My thinking is, already have Kane and if I'm getting BDavies in as well maybe Spurs overload.

Been thinking and maybe the move to do are:

This week: Alonso & Dunk > Robertson & BDavies
then reassess the week after and maybe do Quaner + 1 Mid > Firmino + Bench fodder.

If it's GW37 and they have already won the league (likely), probably no-one.

Probably depends also on if they have FA Cup final and/or CL final coming up - if they do (and they have won the league) I can't see any of their big players playing 2 games within a few days, let alone 3!

Ssshhhh ... but getting 3 City in on a WC for a triple game week BB in 37 would work fine - probable get 180 minutes on average out of each of the three players ... but it seems most managers on here are untangling their BGW31 team with their WC in GW32 😉

Fixture difficulty switch mostly, I think. Many would have planned to sell him this week unless he happened to have been in top form. He was worth the expense/risk with better fixtures, but less so without. The injury and rotation threat just makes the sale a bit easier.

Keeping him, myself, as I have Azpi and Otamendi who are likely to be the first ones to go.
