With the final match of Gameweek 28 not taking place until Thursday, our usual members’ article focuses on the nine fixtures already done and dusted.

Gameweek 31 plays a part in our assessment as the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) transfer market rushes to acquire Liverpool’s in-form Brazilian and Stoke’s playmaker at a time when Bournemouth’s frontman is shown the door.

Meanwhile, we cast an eye over Man United and Brighton’s strikers, while a certain Huddersfield midfielder makes a claim for consideration as a differential.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

My squad as it stands for 31. Any additions you recommend? Perhaps a Bou milf or Sterling > Eriksen?

    VVD Martina
    Shaq Salah Walcott
    Kane Firmino

So, who wants a Spurs blank in 31 and who wants them to play?

I'm currently planning on 10 with them blanking and 11 if they play, so I'm not sure.

I'd love a Spurs blank as it would mean getting less players in that I want to bin the week after

BUT, being a Spurs fan this is a trophy we really should be going for so hoping for a professional performance and result

I’d actually okay with both. If they don’t blank I’m going to max out on them.

Them not blanking will also make GW31 captaincy a bit tricky.

      Robertson - Kenny - BLANK - BLANK

I'm interested what will happen if they go ahead with the 10 day staggering of games. I guess the simple answer is to make one gameweek last 2 weeks to encompass all the teams.

Im not very impressed by another round of the FA cup losing its replays though. That reduces the chance of BGW and DGW excitement as well as denying smaller clubs some much needed cash.

The "lack of respect" he's getting is exactly the same as he got at Everton. He's a flat track bully who cashes in v poor teams but rarely (yes, I know he played very well at the weekend) makes the difference in big games. He can score 20 a season every year, but unless he is the guy who wins games v the rest of the top six each year, it will count for far less

            • 12 Years

Think if he scores in ucl knockouts he should be respected by all means. Guess that will be much more than even top 6 in england. Hope he starts that against sevilla. Manutd restructuring work reaching finish soon 🙂

Yeah, UCL or PL big games. As it is, he has rarely turned up in either. Maybe that changes v Sevilla, City etc. in the coming weeks, but I sure as s**t wouldn't count on it

If the current united team is almost the end of the restructure, I look forward to enjoying years of united achieving very little. Currently miles adrift of City and some way behind the current Liverpool team. Basically fighting for scraps with Chelsea and Spurs without heavy investment/improvement

for me it´s about football qualities, and his first touch is nowhere near what is aquired if one is to be counted as one of the best, he is one dimensional, and only thrives when he has space in front of him. But he is big and he is a spectacle to handle so he has some qualities. But my main cons about him is his lack of contribution defensively. Almost every attacker in the highest level are also quite good as first defenders (Suarez, Firmino, Kane, Griezmann, Costa, Morata etc) and in todays modern football strikers are asked to do that job too and Lukaku is poor in that sense.

that came out wrongly yes. what i tried to say was that i don´t belive he has or can acquire (in the meaning learn or develop) enough qualities to be reckoned as a world class striker (or good enough for a top 6 team at least).

I do respect Rom and realize he is still a work in progress.

If he wants the respect of us Man United fans he will have to earn it we have been blessed over the years with great strikers like Cantona/York/Cole/Sheringham/Solskjaer/Rooney/Van Nistelrooy/RVP/ Berbatov etc.etc. and if he wants the respect of the United crowd he will have to match or beat some of those names which i reckon he will in time but the bar has been set very high at United.

Na it wont be awarded to Arsenal and the FA should have some sympathy and common sense and let clubs sort there own travel arrangements.

It is uncompromising edicts from the FA like that that helped cause the Munich air disaster in 1958.

If they don’t play, they don’t play. Regardless of what the FA or the League do afterwards about it. Just the same that if a red card is taken back after an appeal, you still lose the 2 points that gameweek.

Would you pull the trigger on Son > Mahrez, or hold Son despite the risk of him being benched this week. I feel like if he starts, Son could haul against Huddersfield

I've just sold Sterling for Pritchard. I feel something between guilty and naughty. What do you make of it?

If Sterling is fit and plays in the next matches, he may punish you bigtime.

Also tempted by this and to keep Sterling but will wait to hear more about his sterlings fitness first. Probably should just hold Walcott for 31 but Everton are shocking...

If Rochdale managed to cause an upset it would make the BGW planning much easier 😉 , hold transfers until weds night just in case

I hope they don’t. I am not bothered much about gw31 as it is but would rather it be more difficult for everyone else also.

As an owner of 3 Spurs players, I'd actually prefer them blank in 31. I plan on holding Eriksen for the remainder of the season, and I'm hoping people drop him that week.

        Fixtures vs BGW 31

What players should we get now? Those with nice games like Leicester, Spurs, Arsenal or those with game in GW31 like Everton, Bournemouth, WBA??

Its between Mahrez, Eriksen, Miki/Ramsey/Auba and Wally/Siggy, Wilson, Dawson etc

Wait until Thursday and then decide. I like both Mane and VVD. But would rather hold Sterling then Ogbonna.

I played my wildcard this week. 55 points so far with Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang to play.

How do you reckon this team holds up over the course of the season?

        Pickford | Foster
        Maguire | Mee | Trippier | Robertson | Ake
        Salah | Eriksen | Mkhitaryan | Doucoure | Cook
        Kane | Aubameyang | Firmino
