The first of a rapid-fire pair of Double Gameweeks is now finally upon us, and brings with it an opportunity for diligent managers to make up considerable ground upon less-prepared rivals.

The four extra fixtures also offer the opportunity to deploy one of their potentially game-changing chips, with many now stuffing their benches with Double Gameweek assets ahead of a weekend Bench Boost.

With this in mind, this week’s Technical Area is dedicated to identifying the ultimate Gameweek 34 Bench Boost side, as recommended by Fantasy Football Scout’s own Rate My Team (RMT) tool.

In addition, we also sprinkle in some standalone statistical and eye-test observations of recent form for the key assets involved.

          This is it. I have 2FTs and no other changes I want to make. As he will almost certainly be rotated for a game or two between now and the end of the season, I have brought in Long to fund Kane after the blank. I don't think I'd have even done it if I had a FT, only because I had two and no other pressing matters

    Son + Auba -> Arnautovic + Kane -4

    Is it worth it? Arnie has Stoke at home, and although it's a single fixture for him i think he could explode against his old team, while Son can also get just 90 mins across two games.

    I think Eriksen's predicted points of 8.82 seems a little low?

      Most attackers are predicted to score 8-10 which seems low in a DGW.

      It's not a prediction - it's a historical average taking in to account how Eriksen has done against similarly weighted teams in the past. Or something like that.

    Okay, guys. Here is my dilemma. 45pts ahead in big cash league and i'm debating if i should block rivals players or go for the "best" ones.

    Here are our teams:
    Me:
    2.5 ITB
    ddg/ryan
    Alonso / Lowton / Morgan / Stephens* / MUSTAFI
    Mahrez / Son / Wilian / ALLI / GROB
    Auba / Barnes / VARDY

    He:
    1,1 ITB
    ddg/ryan
    Alonso / Lowton / Morgan / Stephens* / SMALLING
    Mahrez / Son / Wilian / SALAH / GUDMUNSSON
    Auba / Barnes / FIRMINO

    He have done 2 transfers for free and now have 0.6 ITB. I'm pretty sure its Auba + Stephens -> Lukaku + 4.6 def.

    So, do i (1 FT):

    A) Auba + Stephens -> Lukaku + Smailing (To block his dbl UTD def)
    B) Auba + Stephens -> Lukaku + Vertongen (Good prospects of Spurs)
    C) Auba + Stephens -> Kane + _____ (Becuse, Kane...)
    D) Other.
