The first of a rapid-fire pair of Double Gameweeks is now finally upon us, and brings with it an opportunity for diligent managers to make up considerable ground upon less-prepared rivals.

The four extra fixtures also offer the opportunity to deploy one of their potentially game-changing chips, with many now stuffing their benches with Double Gameweek assets ahead of a weekend Bench Boost.

With this in mind, this week’s Technical Area is dedicated to identifying the ultimate Gameweek 34 Bench Boost side, as recommended by Fantasy Football Scout’s own Rate My Team (RMT) tool.

In addition, we also sprinkle in some standalone statistical and eye-test observations of recent form for the key assets involved.

    ->All ready have DDG and playing FH in gw 35.

    2)
    BB or TC this week? bench: Ryan,- Barnes, Monreal, VDH ( starting eleven are all DGW'ers). If I take the hit on Monreal I'm BB for sure.

    Thanks to Kevin Long, I have the following choice. Currently lacking a good captain with no Kane/ or United attack. Ideally want both.

    A) Stick to original plan. Mustafi and Auba to Smalling and Lukaku (Free, No Kane).
    B. Mustafi and Auba to Kane and Long (Free, No United attack).
    C. Mustafi, Auba and Gross to Kane, Long and Lingard (-4)
    D. Mustafi, Son and Auba to Pogba, Long and Kane (-4).

      I met Matt a couple of weeks ago and he said "it's difficult being an attacking player for Rafa Benitez".
      Saying that, they're are one of the top performing teams since the turn of the year (6th I think) and with a decent run in I think he's worth a punt.

      I am worried about Chilwell. He is a good player, but maybe his gametime is limited and he will play only one. Long (Burnely) is nailed and will play both games. But I see that you already have three Burnely players.

      I guess that Morgan (Leicester) is more nailed than Chilwell.

      Son and Willian maybe also risks like Chilwell. But maybe a lot of players are risks in a double game week.

      A little more on Gudmundsson and Nkoudou.

      Iceland winger Gudmundsson has missed the last two games but is set for a timely return considering that his replacement, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, is struggling with a hamstring problem.

      "He’s had a good few days on the grass," Dyche said of Gudmundsson.

      "He’s been with us on the grass today (Thursday), so providing there’s no reaction overnight, then he’ll certainly be back in the thinking.

      "GK [Nkoudou] has a tight hamstring, so that might naturally work out depending. We’re waiting for more news tomorrow morning.

      "We’ll give it a 24-hour window to settle down. He was training today but he just complained a little bit of a tight hamstring.

        I'd say so, no really good option for him to rotate with, the CB's options are plentiful in comparison. I think Jones used to play RB but don't think he's done it in ages.
