The first of a rapid-fire pair of Double Gameweeks is now finally upon us, and brings with it an opportunity for diligent managers to make up considerable ground upon less-prepared rivals.

The four extra fixtures also offer the opportunity to deploy one of their potentially game-changing chips, with many now stuffing their benches with Double Gameweek assets ahead of a weekend Bench Boost.

With this in mind, this week’s Technical Area is dedicated to identifying the ultimate Gameweek 34 Bench Boost side, as recommended by Fantasy Football Scout’s own Rate My Team (RMT) tool.

In addition, we also sprinkle in some standalone statistical and eye-test observations of recent form for the key assets involved.

      I'm still going on about it, not because I want the points though, but because it seems like they just caved in from pressure. As far as I'm aware there is no new evidence, it was just looked at by different people.

      I am keeping Salah and going Lukaku. Didn't fancy the -8 needed to get Kane in (already own Lukaku) so went Alli and Son instead without a hit.. Fingers crossed.

    Chilwell (Leicester) or Long (Burnley)?

    Chilwell is a good player, but maybe his gametime is limited and he will play only one. Long (Burnely) is nailed and will play both games.
