The first of a rapid-fire pair of Double Gameweeks is now finally upon us, and brings with it an opportunity for diligent managers to make up considerable ground upon less-prepared rivals.

The four extra fixtures also offer the opportunity to deploy one of their potentially game-changing chips, with many now stuffing their benches with Double Gameweek assets ahead of a weekend Bench Boost.

With this in mind, this week’s Technical Area is dedicated to identifying the ultimate Gameweek 34 Bench Boost side, as recommended by Fantasy Football Scout’s own Rate My Team (RMT) tool.

In addition, we also sprinkle in some standalone statistical and eye-test observations of recent form for the key assets involved.

    The more I think about it though the more I look at Mr. Desperado (Kane) and think, all he wants is goals and the Golden boot. If he gets a goal vs City he plays Brighton in the second match and it could be a 25-30point haul.

          Glancing at your team it does look like you need funds to do Auba --> Lukaku though and there doesn't seem to be an obvious route for that, it might be the best decision in your position. Can you lose Robertson to fund it maybe?

    Christensen (5.3) > Kevin Long (4.0) for a hit is so tempting as a 'rest of season' enabler.

    - Likely to get 2 matches versus Christensen's one this DGW.
    - Almost guaranteed to end up downgrading Christensen at some point. (Given the BB will be gone after this GW, not likely to invest in Swans/Newcastle etc, unless I need to downgrade Alonso / Vertonghen).
    - Only need him for 2 games then he can sit on the end of my bench till GW38.
