Gameweek 36 comes to its conclusion as Spurs welcome Watford to Wembley in Monday’s 8pm kick-off.

After Mohamed Salah’s rare blank on Saturday, Harry Kane has the chance to shake up the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) standings tonight.

The second top captain pick (17.84%) for this round of fixtures, Kane was handed the armband by 54 of the top 100 managers heading into Gameweek 36.

He was also the most bought player, earning 241,000 new owners, and is again the top transfer in as the north London side prepare for Double Gameweek 37 clashes against West Brom and Newcastle.

Yet his form is hardly prolific, with just a single goal scored over his last six league outings.

By comparison, the Spurs midfield have been far more reliable.

Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min have both scored four times over the same period, while Dele Alli has netted on three occasions and also supplied a trio of assists.

The Dane is the most captained of that trio, with 84,608 FPL managers backing him with the armband.

Son could be the big differential. Handed the captaincy by just 32,917 FPL managers, the South Korean international has averaged seven points per home match this season.

Furthermore, he served up two goals and an assist in the corresponding fixture with the Hornets last term.

After watching City absolutely rip Swansea and West Ham to shreds over the last two game weeks, I feel I'd be quite the fool not to TC either Sterling or Jesus.

Right now I'm leaning towards Sterling. He's just such a danger every second he's on the pitch. I know he misses chances, but he's always involved, he could easily get a couple of goals and assists.

My only fear is that he's rested for the second match, but who's to say Pep doesn't go full strength again, he wants those crazy records. Or he at least gets 20-30 mins off bench, where he could be lethal also.

Spurs don't look convincing, West Brom won't roll over at home, Kane is nowhere near his best, how many shots did he even have tonight? On form, he usually peppers the goal. City look far more determined, although the league is wrapped up, they seem hell bent on setting crazy records, that's Pep's influence.

It's a massive call, 13 points behind my ML Rival, who will probably TC Kane. But the way City play, especially at home, has me thinking Sterling or Jesus has to be the way to go.

Even if Sterling only plays one game he could still score heavily

If he's rested for one game, I think many people are ignoring the possibility that he could play only 5 mins....or 0.

Good points. Jesus is marginally better than Sterling though imo. Gets top baps too.

Sterling's baseline bonus per game is 3 times greater than Jesus' this season (FYI)

You are right but baps favour the strikers when they score plus Sterling does loose the ball quite a lot. Jesus has also played fewer games to make fair comparisons.

As far as I've understood he elbowed Cahill, and it may lead to a ban. I may be mistaken, but that's supposedly what happened in the Chelsea game.

Can do Lingard + Lukaku -> Sterling + Jesus (-4) tonight or else I will be priced out.

Should I do it or get rid of Mahrez/Willian for Sterling which allows me to upgrade the defense (Christensen, Morgan, Tarkowski, Lowton and Dunk) for another -4?

        a) Bin Lingard

        b) Bin Willian/Mahrez and get a better defender for the extra funds
