After two months of ties, we can now reveal who has made it through to the final of our Fantasy Premier League Cup, which takes place over Gameweek 38.

An impressive score of 86 points was more than enough for 2EyedTurk to see off PetesBlair’s tally of 48 and book his place in the final.

Ranked in 20,336th place, he will be up against Boxing Can Girouds, who is 9,486 places above him in the overall standings and had a far tougher semi-final clash, beating Batmaniac by a slender 82-79 margin.

Each of our finalists currently has eight differentials for the season finale.

Both own Manchester United stopper David De Gea, Manchester City duo Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling, Chelsea’s Marcus Alonso, Spurs striker Harry Kane and budget defenders Matt Lowton of Burnley and Crystal Palace’s James Tomkins.

In midfield 2Eyed Turk can call on Manchester City winger Leroy Sane, Spurs midfielder Dele Alli, Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard and Stoke’s Joe Allen.

Whereas Boxing Can Girouds is at a slight disadvantage in the centre of the park as Newcastle midfielder Kenedy is ineligible to face parent club Chelsea. However, he can turn to West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic, Burnley set-piece specialist Johann Gudmundsson and Paul Pogba, of Manchester United.

Boxing Can Girouds’ striker differential of Jamie Vardy has good recent form, having found the net against Arsenal midweek. However, a trip to Spurs looks tough for the Foxes’ striker. In contrast, 2Eyed Turk’s selection of Jordan Ayew has the stronger fixture, at home to Stoke, but poor form, having failed to score in each of his last four run-outs.

De Gea looks set to earn a rest in United’s final day encounter with Watford at Old Trafford, which leaves Boxing Can Girouds relying on Brighton’s Mat Ryan to earn points away to Liverpool. Meanwhile, 2Eyed Turk will be hoping that Burnley’s Nick Pope, who hosts Bournemouth, can keep his spot ahead of Tom Heaton for the final fixture.

Elsewhere in the selection, 2EyedTurk will rely on Spurs full-back Ben Davies to avoid rotation, while Boxing Can Girouds will be optimistic of a start for Manchester City centre-back Nicolas Otamendi, who was rested midweek.

The winner receives a £150 Amazon voucher, while the runner-up earns a £100 Amazon voucher.

The contest is not quite yet over for Petes Blair and Batmaniac, who go head to head in Gameweek 38’s third place play-off. The winner of this encounter wins a £50 Amazon voucher.

The semi-final results and the outcome of all our previous rounds can be found here,

Barnes and smalling wont play so its essentially
Mahrez + 8 vs TAA, McArthur and Auba. Ya doesn't look bad. Go ahead if you don't mind the hits.

My season has come down to the anxiety of knowing whether Chris Wood is fit or not, so that I can bring in Sam Vokes,
    What even is this season.

    kdb mahrez gudmundsson fernandinho ALLI
    jesus murray KANE

    Trailing by 23 pts.

I know I won't catch him but how will I ensure the most devastating eventual defeat while I'm desperately trying?

    A) Alli > Zaha
    B) KDB > Salah (would be my obvious move but won't help much with him having done the same)
    C) A + Fernandinho > Arnie (-4)

    Also should I captain?

    3) Kane

Tinkering with the team for the last time this season, I'm throwing some explosive hits in the mix.
A -24 hit could give this team, leaving 0 in the bank before any prices change:

    Adrian
    Vertonghen VanAanholt AlexArnold
    Salah Sterling Zaha Arnautovic
    Kane Aubameyang Jesus

    bench: Ryan Milivojevic Tarkowski VanDerHoorn

Which players are priority to get rid of? Thinking Willian and Lingard as they’re more or less guaranteed to be out.

    Willian
    Lingard
    Son
    Jesus

Hey guys, chasing a 14 point lead. Leader has Salah but neither Kane nor Sterling and is unlikely to bring in either based on his current squad and money ITB.

Given that I have Son, Willian & GroB (most of whom won't return) should I take a -4 hit (increasing his lead to 18) and do Willian & Jesus > Zaha and Kane (c) or avoid the hit and do GroB > Zaha and put the armband on Sterling?

    DDG
    Alonso - Lowton - Naughton - Long
    Eriksen - Son - Sterling - Willian
    Jesus - Vardy

    Ryan - GroB - Morgan - Barnes

I currently only have 11 players that (might) start...
    Ryan
    Vert | Alonso | Mawson | Simpson
    Arnie | Sterling | Son | Willian
    Jesus | Kane

    The others are....
De Gea || Barnes | Lingard | Chilwell

My current thought is to do Chilwell to TAA...... do you have any better ideas?

Anyone got any friends/family/rivals who have surpassed expectations this year?

With one GW left my dad playing his first season is just inside 50k, only 8pts behind me and top of his work league. Gave him a bit of advice at the start of the season but the only time I've helped him past the first few GWs was with his wildcards. He had Sane this week, exactly the sort of punt he's got right all season. Been a while since I've had a rivalry with someone irl, made this season far more enjoyable.

    Have robbo vdH Bertrand dummett.

Or hope he plays, and replace son instead (I feel like dilva more likely to start than son)
