Just overhaul your team and forget about the points. Remember it's a game after all. If it's not fun - do something about it. One season my team was a shambles and I took like a -34 point hit in one week to get my team in a place where I could enjoy FPL and didn't do too badly by the end of the season! Good luck!

If you have given up on FPL after only the opening two GWs, you might as well never register again

Hey man, we’ve all had a tough start.
Even with a crap start, you can still get a decent rank. A couple of years ago, I started out at 2m OR and ended up in top10K. Just take it bit by bit.
And EVEN if you don’t get a good rank, just use this season to have as much fun as you want and play around with different strategies and tactics and take crazy punts. Maybe join a January-May league or something.
This place (and other “communities”) can be fun places to talk football and FPL and it sounds like it’s something you miss/still want.

Get back on the horse and take it as a challenge OR just play around with your team this year 🙂

This is the same as I feel every season. Based on my FPL history, I always have bad starts. My first GW rank is always 2-3 million mark.

But I persevere, just like everyone else here. I take it as a challenge the FPL gives me to climb that ladder, and always have this mindset "challenge accepted".

This is FPL, and you are in a very dynamic environment. Take this in a way to build and develop yourself as a person. It can help in your professional life.

Why not change your goal for the season. Assuming you've never won the whole thing before then why not just aim for doing better than last year? That's my aim, and probably the aim of many year. That's loads to achieve!

Don't give up mate. It's a marathon. Even if you are 5 mil today, you can finish in 10k.

It's not how bad or well you started it. It's how you finished it, and what went in between.

Don't get too down on it mate. You could use your WC and sort things out. I've seen you posting around here and I respect your opinion.

I like the first two. Not sure which I prefer overall. Basically it's Hazard, Aubameyang, Fraser and Hennessey vs. Salah, Ederson, Zaha and Wilson. Actually when I put it like that I prefer the one with Salah, but I wouldn't want to be without Aubameyang.

Don't see Mhki as a rotation risk really. As long as he's performing he's probably set. He's in form now and fixtures going his way.

Depends on your team make up I think but having said that:
1. There is no reason to keep Diop.
2. I think you can do better than Ozil. I like Fraser at 5.5 given the draw.
3. You're making 1.0 out of this; do you have a plan to spend it?
4. I really want Hazard too based on his PPM but I don't think he is at full fitness and he is quite hard to fit in with other gun players around him.

Just wait and see. He's in my team right now but if he doesn't look good I'll just ditch for Hazard.

He's played City & Chelsea under a new manager and system off the bat. And was spearheading BVB's attack whether in a 433 or 451 that BVB switched between. And had Mhki there with him for a bit as well. Scored goals, loads of them. No worries imo. He'll come good him.
