The Fantasy Premier League community are scrambling to find a replacement for the suspended Richarlison (£6.7m) for Gameweek 4.

The Everton man was owned by 38 percent of FPL managers ahead of a Gameweek 3 trip to Bournemouth in which he was sent off for violent conduct.

He is set to miss Gameweeks 4 and 5 with a midweek EFL Cup tie able to absorb one of his three-match suspension.

We’ve gone over the numbers to find the best replacement for Richarlison, as we know there is great interest in alternatives.

Fantasy Football Scout members can view the full extent of our research which heavily relies on our Opta data.

We’ve taken a look a whole host of options who largely sit between the £5.0m and £7.1m bracket. While some Fantasy managers may be able to make multiple transfers to replace Richarlison with a more expensive asset, these factors cannot be factored too much into our research. Therefore, this article aims to find the best alternative in a straight-swap, give or take a few decimal point millions.

For example, we have included Henrikh Mkhitaryan (£7.1m) in our comparison, which would be a jump of £0.5m for anyone who bought Richarlison at either his starting season price of £6.5m or £6.6m; £0.4m for any managers who can sell him for £6.7m.

Bernardo Silva (£7.6m) also played a part for anyone holding a little more cash in the bank.

We have also compared the possible candidates against Richarlison’s numbers for the first three Gameweeks, in the hope that we might find an option who can replace him longer term.

OR No 1 in the world has a strike force of:

    Aubameyang - Mitrovic - Moonie

Let that sink in and then tell me if we’re playing this game right?

I have Ryan and think that its a good strategy just to stick with him until christmas. The fixtures are great, can easily get save points and always scores well

    A) Mkhi
    B) Walcott
    C) Moura

    Patricio - Hamer
    Rob - Mendy - Bailly - A Smith - WB
    Salah - Mane - Bilva - Rich - Fraser
    Aguero - Arna - Kamara

    2FT & 1.0ITB.

I left Richa on the bench as I felt it's a bit odd to get Wally for him and than potentially get him back for Wally, wasted transfers. So I got Pedro for Maddison, am I mad for thinking like this or secretly genius?

This is one of the biggest debates I have seen and the community is really split , Walcott or Lucas are the front runners.

But the other options are really good to, so take your pick and be confident in your decision.

I don't think so. I like your back 3 with the possibility of going 4 at the back with AWB. Bennet's got some good fixtures coming up if he keeps his spot.
Salah, Hazard, Mkhi all looks good and Fraser good value. Billing decent 5th mid.
Aguero and Zaha 2 best strikers in their price ranges.

So only issues for me are Fab's tough fixtures for the foreseeable future. Hennessy or Pat could at least help with this.
Jiminez could be real value at 5.5, as Wolves seem determined to up their game. Allows even more flexibility in terms of formation.

          Good team and Good luck

if he was injured he would be on the ground. i'm sure there was 'some' contact. would you not agree harsh decision? his reaction was pathetic (Smith). baiting him, then looking to the ref for the ejection. Rich was walking away from Smith if I recall as well..

Just don't go around head butting people - It shouldn't be that hard and it has no place on the field, when the ball isn't even rolling

Would be utterly ridiculous if the refs were supposed to analyze the power of head butts or how big a percentage of a player's spitting hit the opponent.

      1. HellasLEAF
        • 16 Years
        7 years, 5 months ago

I can tell the difference from my couch between a nothing head nudge, and an actual headbutt. And I'm sorry, but if you are going to eject a player for that match, and then 3 matches you should be able to differentiate imo it's a major decision.

        1. Licious Lizard
          • 13 Years
          7 years, 5 months ago

But why even have to make differentiate between it? The ball isn't in play - he has no reason to be butting or tapping his head like that. Part of being a pro that you don't lose your temper like that.
I like the fact that it is a zero tolerance for this kind of stuff.

I'm still leaning towards DGWs, but not sure Aguero will still have this kind of his "best" form physically and mentally like this moment.

Rotation with Jesus also comes in as a factor. Pep will not rotate him atm.

Richarlison > Walcott was done initially before his double rise, but is there anything here worth a -4/8?

    Ederson
    AWB TAA Duffy Alonso Mendy
    Mkhi Salah Walcott
    Auba Kun

    Hamer Ings Fraser Guendouzi

Well if all else fails it's looking like a £0.5 swing after selling Rich - so I can't complain.

Yep. Rich looks like he'll drop twice and Walcott is well on course for his 3rd rise.

Is Bennett gonna lose or keep his place?

Need someone to fund Rich-> Mkhi, so gonna downgrade Keane to a 4.0 or 4.5.

Best Hart replacement for the next 6-7 GWs?

Arsenal fixtures are good but still don’t fancy many clean sheets and very unconvinced by Cech anyway. Prefer Ederson but I assume your 3 slots are taken already?
Alisson would be my next choice as a set and forget.

Yes, three spots taken. I'd free one up if I was convinced by their ability to keep clean sheets though.

B out of those by far.
Alisson tough fixtures and you'll need that Pool spot soon enough...
Cech won't keep many clean sheets - even if he keeps his place long term.
