The FPL Breakfast Club returns this morning as we prepare for Gameweek  6.

Joe will be discussing his Wildcard and no doubt still tinkering as we’re on air, while Az explains why he will remain Eden Hazard-less for this weekend at least.

I’ll (Neale) be joining Joe and Az in David’s absence and fretting on whether shipping Benjamin Mendy out is a wise decision.

There will also be some build-up to the lunch-time clash between Fulham and Watford at Craven Cottage.

The team news will emerge at 11:30 am and we’ll take you through the line-ups of both teams as they arrive.

    I literally remembered a minute before the deadline that I have to make a transfer.

    Was deliberating yesterday whether to bring Maddison or Rich for Mkhi, with 2 FTs. Left the decison until today. Almost regretted it.

    Ended up getting Maddison because he was the one I could click on faster in the transfers tab. Barely made it.

          I can see where this thought came from, but you have to take into account that his captain potential was already taken into account when determining the price. If there was no captains in FPL the heavy hitters would be cheaper. So it's not value times two.

                To illustrate the difference, consider Alexis Sanchez. He was priced at 10.5m at the start of the season. He has returned only 2 assists and has played less than 3 full games. Do you consider him to be worth 10.5m?

                    JFC you are the one who is treating them as synonyms, not me. Price = the objective cost of the player. Value = a subjective judgement on how desireable a player is, taking into account their price and performance.

                    Your earlier presumption that he is worth 13m therefore worth 26m when captained is at best subjective and seemingly not based on anything except his price. He is priced at 13m but that doesn't automatically make him worth 13m as it doesn't take into account his level of performance.
