With so many highly-owned options facing off in Gameweek 7, differentials could take on a bigger role than usual.

There are several premium Fantasy Premier League assets involved in an unpredictable meeting between Chelsea and Liverpool on Saturday afternoon, which has had a big effect on the build-up to this weekend’s action.

We’ve gone over the options owned by fewer than 5% of Fantasy managers to see which ones could help propel you up the rankings.

Raheem Sterling (£11.0m)

Ownership: 3.4%

With attacking returns in all but one of his five league appearances in 2018/19, it is incredible that Raheem Sterling (£11.0m) is still only in fewer than 5% of Fantasy squads.

Of course, we know why many have overlooked the Manchester City midfielder. The return to regular starts for Sergio Aguero as well as high ownership for Mohamed Salah and Eden Hazard have left little room in the plans of Fantasy managers.

But his low ownership leaves the door open for anyone looking to move away from the template. The Gameweek that pits Salah against Hazard does provide the opportunity for some managers to get Sterling in for an appealing home match against Brighton.

The former Liverpool man has only missed one league match in 2018/19 and played just 35 minutes midweek. That would suggest he should survive the Pep Guardiola rotation roulette for Gameweek 7.

In the last four Gameweeks, no player has touched the ball in opposing penalty boxes as many times as Sterling. He has also struck a healthy balance between goal threat and creativity, registering six shots on target and nine key passes in that time.

Andre Schürrle (£5.9m)

Ownership: 5.0%

Aleksandar Mitrovic may be the standout Fulham attacker for his five goals in the first six Gameweeks, but his colleague Andre Schürrle (£5.9m) is also worth considering.

The German has actually recorded the same number of shots on target as Mitrovic in the last four Gameweeks. Schürrle is normally a little more speculative with his efforts, over two-thirds of them coming from outside of the penalty box.

But with a potential saving of £1.1m, Schürrle could offer value in midfield compared to his forward counterpart, especially as some managers look to free up room for options such as Harry Kane (£12.4m) this week.

There should be goals for Fulham in Gameweek 7 with Everton averaging 1.83 goals conceded per match.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.4m)

Ownership: 1.3%

Fantasy managers have already targetted Everton’s Gameweek 7 match-up with Fulham as a potentially high-scoring affair. Both sides have very potent attacks but neither one has kept a clean sheet in 2018/19.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.4m) should be involved in the Toffees’ inevitable goals at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon considering his role in set-pieces.

The Icelandic midfielder is the chief corner taker for Everton, who now have the dangerous Michael Keane (£4.9m) back in the fold too.

Brought Kane into my team this week with the intention of captaining him against Huddersfield. Now that Eriksens unavailable my gut feeling is to captain Kun. Only thing stopping me from doing so is the potenial agony of having the armband on Kane all week and switching last minute only for Kane to outscore Aguero. This game plays with your head man.

Stick to your plan. Spurs supporting mates are happy Eriksen is out and more confident now they prefer Lamela to start atm.

AWB as Bournemouth are scoring a lot of goals at the mo.
If you want a player in the Monday night game then you could consider benching TAA instead.

As we still have no timeline on a return for Benjamin Mendy and with Guardiola seemingly unimpressed with his general discipline and time keeping of late, what do those still holding him now plan to do with the City man?

I think my other defenders are good enough to cover for him this week with Doherty coming in for an attractive home fixture against Southampton and that still leaves Wan-Bissaka on the bench. I would like the luxury of two free transfers next week so I think I’ll hold for now.

Have you already sold the flying Frenchman and who did you bring in or if you’ve just decided that the time has come to bin Benjamin, who are you now looking at? Can Trippier be trusted to start the next few games or could Walker-Peters make a rare start? Is it a simple sideways trade to another Manchester City defender like Laporte or Walker? Or is it time for a downgrade to a cheap enabler with the likes of Newcastle now finally seeing an upturn in fixtures and redistributing the funds higher up the pitch?

for me im keeping him and keeping the transfer for next week to see how to get kane in or reassess in case of midweek injuries which are also possible . have awb alonso and kabasele in this week , and will probably play the same 3 next week as they all have pretty decent fixtures , makes it easier to wait for mendy for after the international break .

He departed for Trippier last week, so I still have the prospect of goals and assists to go with clean sheets. And why should I worry about rotation? I've got the same Wolves/Palace cover that those keeping Mendy are relying on.

Went to Trippier based on the next 3 games, to make money out of him and hopefully catch Mendy at a cheap price.

Keeping, I have Ederson & Mendy & would rather sell Ederson so am going bench Mendy until he's back and sell Ederson when he's off the naughty step.

I've taken the first drop already so he'll have to drop to 6.1 to lose anymore real value, think I have time.

Definitely holding. Only lose value in a player if you sell irrespective of price changes.. let him drop, he will rise again when he becomes ‘essential’ once more.

It's not about value though. Why do so many people make decisions based on price changes. Besides I sold for 6.2m. He's 6.3m, I've only lost 0.1m as it stands. He could be out another month and drop 6.2m, therefore buying back, I'm in a better postion value wise than you. In addition, I may earn a 0.1m on Trippier which puts me 0.2m to the good over you if he drops again before his return.

I went for Doherty over Trippier in the end. Slightly more secure of his start and from the eye test he's a very attacking player! Compared favourably to Trippier in the members area comparison as well. The spare cash will be used next week to upgrade zaha to either vardy, Lacazette or maybe even Harry Kane...

    No one thinks about Monreal?

Arsenal better stats than Spurs defensively, he is nailed and got some attacking stats.

Youre banking on Hazard outscoring Mane by atleast 4 points? The best defensive side in the league?

Arnie's flag removed. A blank tomorow and a haul for Mitro could see him drop to 6.8m before GW 9 fixture swing

Spurs have conceded 9 goals in 5 games. Why all the Trip love? Surely Walker is a better option for points from both ends of the pitch.

Actually, im considering wildcarding and leaving out both Hazard and Mane, with the plan of taking Sterling and bringing Salah in from gw 9. Liverpool are solid at the back, and Sterling should play. Ofcourse you never know with Peps rotation, but he has a strong chance.

i don't think i can let the potential for points with Kane slip by. It's too big of an opportunity. Huddersfield/Cardiff and West Ham next up. Poch is going to play the system now that favours him with the players he has available now. 4-2-3-1. Thats the reason why his stats are much better (5 shots in the box). It's going to cost minus 4 Firmino and Mane out Kane and Richarlison in
