Scuppered by Roberto Mancini’s rotational policy, last week’s Flutter didn’t quite go as planned. Our £20 stake on a Man City white wash was returned to the Scout wallet after both Sergio Aguero and David Silva were left twiddling on the bench. But as Paddy have posted a couple of special doubles amongst their Cheltenham frenzy, we’re letting our money ride straight into this week’s bets…

Two teams in red take our focus this week as Liverpool travel to Sunderland for part one of their double Gameweek and Man United host West Brom in a potential title banana skin encounter. Paddy have priced up anytime goalscorer, win and clean-sheet bets, featuring Wayne Rooney and Luiz Suarez.

Although Rooney has been amongst the goals of late, and the 15/8 is comparatively better value, West Brom are riding high of the back of three solid wins. Goal bonanza’s against Wolves and Sunderland, and a stern 1-0 against Chelsea suggest that Roy Hodgson’s side will put up a fight – that shifts Rooney’s bet out of our crosshairs and has us looking to Suarez and Liverpool instead.

Sunderland’s resurgence under Martin O’Neil suffered a major blow via a 4-0 drubbing to the Baggies, while the dismissal of Stephane Sessegnon and Lee Cattermole in the Tyne-Wear derby stalemate last weekend will surely be felt when Liverpool come knocking. Although Suarez has struggled to fire, he showed enough against Arsenal to suggest he’ll trouble the Black Cats. Paddy are offering 7/2 on a Suarez anytime goal with Liverpool winning with a clean sheet – that’s enough to tempt us and our double stake of £20 is placed.

Paddy’s other Scout specials top and tail the Gameweek, with a Ryo Miyachi special in the weekend’s opening game at the Reebok and an Arsenal goalscorer double in Monday night’s game.

Robin Van Perise and Theo Walcott may well be disappointed at their failure to progress in the Champions league, but they’re sure to be happy about the momentum built on the domestic front. Tenacious wins against Spurs and Liverpool lead them into this week’s encounter with Newcastle – a real test of their staying power. The Newcastle back four is expected to be under pressure and Van Persie and Walcott both to score is rocking a reasonable 100/30 at Paddy.

Ryo Miyachi has only featured in three Bolton games after being loaned from the Gunners, and unfortunately for him, they’ve all been defeats. Not a great introduction to the Premier League for the 19-year-old but with struggling QPR at the Reebok on Saturday, his prospects look set to improve. With a 4.9 FPL price tag and a mention in the Scout Picks this week, Miyachi might well emerge as an end of season budget bandwagon with legs. For those of you skeptical of the short prices offered in the above specials, Paddy are offering an interest friendly 11/2 on a Miyachi goal and a Bolton win at home to the R’s.

Very good, only slight fault is Suarez but can't really say much as he has his DGWK so looks very good! Nani over Young maybe?

Yeah since you have Schwarzer no point taking a risk on Kelly/Senderos/Hughes (all rotation/injure problems). I've got McAuley Williamson - rotate pretty well, Simpson is obviously > Williamson if you have the cash...

Clubroot debut album was good, the follow-up - not so much. Try Desolate (Sven Weisemann's alias), Pangaea ("Router"), Synkro, Ramadanman or even Jamie Woon (he's a neo-soul artist, but Burial remixed his track - "Wayfaring Stranger" and also helped him produce "Lady Luck" as well as the remix of "Night Air").

To be honest there are very few artists who can match the vibes and atmosphere in Burial's productions IMO.

Exactly; plus I don't think it's a good decision to look for artists who are only trying to imitate his sound, while there's are so many more creative edm acts.

ENR, how do you see Chelsea lining up at the back today? Think Luiz will play?

*sorry meant JT back. I'd expect a JT - Luiz CB pairing if he's fit.

          Cool. Captain Robin Reliable?

            Ah ok cool.

Yes RVP captain, paid for not doing it last week! Can't fit Suarez in but have Rooney-Holt as the other 2 up front and Enrique sole DGW coverage. I actually haven't pulled the trigger on these transfers yet but to fit Rooney in, I'd have to get rid of Silva which is painful to think about!

I think JT won't start and will come an a sub for the last 20-25 mins as he's coming back from a long injury lay-off.

I'm still not sold on Silva, if I was to get rid i'd either....

    A) Get in Frank before Stoke

    B) Get in Adebayor for Yakubu

    C) Or Keep

Keep him Parmtree. He's solid. Just the odd rotation risk on a rare occasion. I'd suggest Mata instead of Lampard though, as he played behind the striker against Birmingham, and he was so much more effective there.

Yeh, but I think at my rank(150k) I can afford to take the odd risk or two,
Although Bale--Silva--Nani as my three big hitters in midfield for the run in looks perfect.

Who would you play if you had Vorm in goal.

    a) Caulker (means doubling up on Swans)
    b) Shotton (plays against Mata, who I have)
    c) Simpson (plays against RVP-Captain, who I also have)

RVP, Waz or Nani for el capitan? Currently is RVP (c) and Nani (vc). Only reason Roonpig isn't (vc) is because Sir Alex's comments about making changes and prioritising the Europa League (WE WANT THE LEAGUE).

    Team:

    Mignolet (Krul)
    Evans, Enrique, Cahill (Caulker, Kelly)
    Silva, Bale, Dempsey, Sigg (Sess)
    RVP, Rooney Ba

Did: Kompany -> Enrique, Aguero -> Rooney | 2 FT

Thinking of a 4pt hit to do Cahill -> Skrtel.

I usually don't take hits for defenders, but that one may actually pay off. Cahill is less likely to play with Terry nearing match fitness, while Skrtel will probably get at least 4pts from these two games.

Keep Cahill. Don't see much wrong with him being in here, or play Caulker if you're feeling shifty about it.

That's a tough one. For this week I think Cahill will play and looks good for a CS, but he's def not nailed on. I'd prob go for it if you're chasing a lead.

One way of looking at it is that with Cahill not being nailed on, youre prob gonna have to use a transfer to get rid at some point, so no better time to do it than a DGW player.

Quality grav btw, agent dale cooper is a legend.
