Bit of feedback on the article for David: I personally find the second table (PL Rank GWs 1-4 vs PL Rank GWs 5-8) to be useless, because absolute figures Goal Attempt, Shots inside the box, etc, could plausibly the same in both columns, or even show an inverse relation to the rank. In any case, using rank is essentially linear, so it doesn't capture the proportions between team performances for each metric, which is the essential part when comparing teams.

I appreciate you are probably trying to add some variation to the article, but sometimes boring is best. Rank helps to contextualise the data, but isn't a particularly insteresting metric in iteself unless we already know that the relationship between it and the actual values is linear, which means we can infer the value from the rank. There's plenty of room in the table to add the values for Goal Attempts etc, but if there weren't, I would prioritise these values over the rank.
