Wolverhampton Wanderers’ defence was supposed to be one of the clean sheet bankers in Gameweek 13, but Fantasy managers were left disappointed.

After keeping four clean sheets from five matches between Gameweeks 4 and 8, the newly-promoted side have not recorded one since.

We’ve taken a look at the data in the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area to see whether the use of Rui Patrício (£4.6m), Matt Doherty (£4.9m) and their defensive colleagues have run out.

Don't know what the article says but definitely Doherty has to go. Digne bandwagon starting soon.

I've not read it will but I know from the eye test he's been really unlucky not to pick up points in the last 5 or so. With the exception of Hudders game

I've had him since 4.4 so he isn't going anywhere at that price point

Nah! Wolves were complacent against proper scrappers.

Expect a big reaction this week.

Who scores more points this week?

    A. Salah and Kenedy (WHM)
    B. Mane and Sane - 4

      In one week nobody knows

But Sane & mane must be 1.5 more expensive so you'd expect them to deliver around 10% more points to offer value.

However when you double Salah's score for captaincy, and double one of Mane/Sane that clouds it even further

      1. chilli con kone

Good point RE thier value I didn't consider the price difference.

It's really whether or not the hit now is worth it or to wait a week...

Sane may not even rise again with Sterling and Silva getting attention so marginal value gain at best if I did move early

In general its best to avoid hits, but in certain weeks they can pay off handsomely if you can read the tea leaves

They can also absolutely tank your OR if you get it wrong

Salah out for a hit isn't something I would entertain personally, as if I did it he would be GUARANTEED to double or treble return, but it could work

    4.6 def and:
    a) Fraser, Kane, Aguero
    b) Alli, Lacazette, Aguero

    c) Dilva, Arnie, Kane

That's a nice team, you're very exposed to city's defence continuing to keep clean sheets, as well as Alonso but plenty of firepower up front.

I'd prefer Brooks as I haven't seen a lot of Patterson, but probably not much in it

      How is the bench looking?

      1. Demel
        • 14 Years
        7 years, 1 month ago

Thanks. I guess I am only exposed if Liverpool fail to match them. If Liverpool match City/Chelsea then the risk reduces a lot. But what I risk at the back i hope to make up with a killer 5 up front. Bench isn't fantastic. AWB rotating in with 4th mid/Doc when required. Camarasa as a 2 point 2nd sub and a throwaway 3.8m 3rd sub. Palace have nice fixtures so happy for AWB appearances when rotation hits and I don't see a 3rd sub being required often. If I start regularly dipping into my bench I can switch Sane to Alli and Peltier to Balbuena as required etc.

      Brooks.

Warnock has already made light of that position as an area for investment in Jan, so you might be using another transfer when really you want a set and forget in there

    this sounds ominous

Sarri: "I am worried that Hazard had a back injury and now ankle. He has lost a lot of training, so it is normal he is not at the top of his physical condition. This week it is useful for him to have training. He cannot play 10 matches in 30 days - sometimes he has to rest." #CFC

Yep, I'll be captaining unless Sarri categorically days he's out.

I don't believe Chelsea will risk losing twice in a row to a new manager bounce team by resting their best player, and they need to bounce back.

I expect Morata to be dropped for GRU and Haz to both get and create several big chances and hopefully take a few of them

nope he was talking this in a general scheme of things .This is his exact quote regarding injuries.

"The last problem is Moses. I spoke with the doctor and he has a back problem this morning, so I think he will not be able to play tomorrow. Then Hazard of course it is not a serious injury. He will not be able to play tomorrow but I think he will be able to recover for the Premier League match (Fulham)"

Anyone have a feeling who will start for City on Saturday after the Lyon game last night? Sterling and Mahrez completed 90 with Sane getting 71 last night. The first time this season I believe all 3 have started a competitive fixture?

This just isn't true. People assume this based on one comment from Pep. Sterling is much more versatile than the other two.

In saying that, I do believe that Sane and Sterling are excellent options. It's just silly that people now think Sane is so secure all of a sudden...
