      I didn’t own Hazard all season until 5 weeks ago, got him in for his 10 points or whatever over the last 5.

      Sold him for Sterling this week, Giroud braces and likely to start at the weekend, which will hugely benefit Hazard.

      Anyone else never been able to get it right with the Belgian?

          Patience is a funny thing. Those who “weren’t” patient and dropped him 5 weeks ago are sitting pretty. It’s just been timing, think they are different.

            Season keeper, you look at all the seasons when the team performs and he has dry patches but overall he’s 200+ player

              Season keeper argument applies to Salah and Sterling as well, and with Kun you really only get 2. It’s a really just preference between the 4.

              Never understand this logic. You don’t keep underperforming premium players no matter their points history... surely the whole point of the game is to have players while they’re scoring and not have them while they’re not

                  Agreed, I suppose the counter argument is that you can either get it 50% right by taking on a "season keeper" approach, or a range between 0-100% right if you time it, as premiums can haul in unexpected games. That said, it is usually quite apparent when the time is right.

                  Aim of this game is to get points .U have to predict whether the underperforming player will perform for the next few games or not.If u think he will perform no point removing the player and chasing points from previous games .As simple as that

              Huh? Patience as in waiting one more evening for the Chelsea game rather than transferring mid-week. That's only your fault mate - not that it's necessarily going to backfire anyhow.

                  Unless the 0.1 price rise was imperative to getting Sterling, it's in my opinion always better to wait for more information and remaining games. People get burnt on those decisions all the time. That said good luck!

                    I've been patient this year in making every move on Friday's (I'm in the US), which isn't common for me. that .1 was needed unfortunately for me.

                    I dug my own grave if it doesn't come off. 🙂 good luck to you as well! Have a feeling it'll be a week where they all haul.

          Been lucky this season with Haz but last season I timed it wrong like you and got burned by Sterling big time. So I've sold him for Strling this week

          The one trolling me is Richarlison. I've managed to own him for 5GW overall with one return and one red!

          Historically, I have always missed out on his huge hauls. I bring him in and then he goes cold like right now. I'll get rid and the points will come again. He is the most frustrating player to own.

          In saying that, I did get his 14 points this season and basically nothing since.

              Really difficult - I'd hold until tomorrow and hope for more information on Hazard and then it's your call! If Hazard starts, I think he's the best option of the 3, otherwise obviously not. Of the city mids I suspect Sane is most likely to start this week but who knows over say the next 3-4.

              I think for the next few weeks Sane may just edge it because of Mendy's injury. No one else can provide the width on the left in the way that Sane does, and it's vital to Pep's style. With regards to the Hazard swap, I will almost certainly do it at some point, just deciding whether to pull the trigger this week.

            Hmm decision to hold Hazard starting to lose its shine when it looks like Morata might start over Giroud vs FUL. Haz so much better with Giroud playing. Sad times
