With Robin Van Persie a constant in most Fantasy squads and Wayne Rooney’s recent form lifting him to near essential status, there appears to be just a single slot up for grabs in our Fantasy forward lines. With this in mind, our two-part members article plunders our own ICT Index scores and Opta statistics for the previous six Gameweeks to assess form, identifying would-be targets in the mid-range and budget price brackets.

We start today, analysing those players open to Fantasy managers with cash to spare: forwards available in the 7.0-9.5 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) price range.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Yep, in hindsight, he deserved a mention - not least due to his slip in form which has him outside of our first table. I did want the form over the last six GW's to be the basis of the article though and, on that basis, Ba has slipped off the radar. Norwich at home though - he can quickly come back into the frame.

        Difficult to say why he would travel if not fit - very very odd. Makes no sense.

        In our defence we remained skeptical - we still left him as a doubt for the Wolves game - turns out we were right on that front.

    Anyone fancy Arsenal for some clean sheets for the run in. Bar Norwich these are some of the lowest scoring teams in the league:

    Everton Villa QPR Wolves Wigan Stoke Norwich WBA

    And the Gunners are looking much more solid with a stable back four.
