Four games down, five to go. A fractured Gameweek rolled on with a convincing win for United at Wolves and a not-so emphatic performance and victory for top four hopefuls Newcastle. Our Members can dip into all the data from the weekend’s games and read on for our selection of the notable numbers so far. As usual, we’ve also thrown in our prediction for the Fantasy Premier League bonus points…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Partway through matchday 4, Villareal Manager TW was cornered by the press and forced to make an official statement for the media.

When asked about his thoughts regarding his round three match against Robert Newman-Cini's Manchester City, TW responded "We were disappointed to have lost such a tightly contested match" and that "City were lucky to have won." While his responses were brief, he did say that more would be heard on the matter shortly.

He then proceeded to say that he hoped his team could capitalize on their home advantage in what is looking to be another tightly contested match-up between the two teams.

He revealed that he had looked into signing Evans or bringing in the dynamic duo of Caulker and Valencia but was too busy to finalize either transaction so unfortunately missed out on both deals which was rather disappointing for him. However he said he hopes to be able to one or two of the said players with perhaps another signing on the cards as well.

To the seemingly typical question of where he had disappeared to and why there was a delay for his post match press conference, this time around TW was a bit more elusive. He mentioned that he had been quite busy talking with League officials and with local authorities but refused to reveal any more. He also hinted at some sort of a news breaking cover story that was soon to come before he reluctantly opened the field to questions.

      Good work, TW...

By my reckoning, you've got to hope Mignolet and J. Enrique outscore Miyaichi + 7/8pts...

      Hmmm, good luck...

39 points with Migs, Skrtel, Enrique, Walcott, Suarez & RVP to go. Caulker waiting in the wings if any of these lot don't play. Will be hugely unpopular but I'd actually quite fancy an RVP no show (as long as we still win) 😉

I'd say none, unless he gets injured in training.

Unfortunately I think Caulker and his points are going to be agonisingly stuck as 'next available sub in' on my bench for the 3rd week running.

It's not everyday I get singled out for advice...

The third striker is the trouble spot right now, no one really wants to claim it...

As touted in the articles, Balotelli seems to be the best option... I have Suarez for his good fixtures, after that I'm not sure...

I might consider Ade if he can show some form before their amazing run of fixtures...

      It's a tough call...

OK Guys who would your third striker be?

I have Holt, but with his playing time restricted and all I want to get rid of him.
Which option would you rate the best?

    a) Adebayor (I have Bale in midfield anyways though)
b)Odemwingie -I remove Morrison for Miyachi or someone cheap
c)Balotelli (whatever maybe written here, you never know if he's going to play, a real punt which I would have taken if I was chasing in my league, but I'm not)
d)Pog - (I already have Dempsey and doubling up on Fulham attackers doesn't look very wise right now)
    e) Suarez - I have no Liverpool (not that they've scored many)
    f) Ba (doesn't look very good right now, playing up with the other Cisse)

    I'm currently leaning towards B.

Any help (including new suggestinos) would be appreciated

I have 2 FTs and 7.1 in the bank.

I rate Morrison highly so if anything it is similar to the Fulham situation. I would take the risk with Balo but the safe option would be Ade with fixtures and possible DGW's for the rest of the season.

i heard on the radio (on the way home from work) that stoke and spurs have been in touch with the PL about possibly playing the fixture at a later date, because the spurs team are obviously upset with what happened at the weekend, there's also a tweet saying virtually the same thing on the home page of this site.

Tony V's sustained composure amazes me.

Unlike Suarez, who's conversion rate is mediocre at best, Tony V's deliveries and also finishes have an astonishing high level of quality.

I've always said that Tony V has been lucky and his stats have suggested that his output would decrease over time (i.e. not enough shots on target/key passes) but the more I watch him play then the more I think he is just something else.

He seems to score most chances he has and a lot of his passes seem to find someone in a good position. Such a good player!

Does anyone know why Santon has been getting so little game time lately - has he fallen out with Pardew? I though he was virtually nailed on.

Unfortunately I have this choice of 3rd striker this upcoming game week:
Santon (wba), Kaboul (che) or Kelly S (manu)

Santon is the obvious choice but will probably only get 1 point if lucky. Enrique and Evans are my other 2 btw and I dont want to use my FT to transfer him out this week as I have other plans in mind.

    Any ideas?

I know how you feel, my choice of defs for next gw30 is: Cahill, Taiwo, Simpson, BAE, Evans

And there's no way I could do swap in defense, since I must bring in Rooney for Ba, which will result in mid sale.

So I'll just play Evans, Cahill and Simpson, hoping for the best!

Stoke are a bit out of order trying to get a posponement , real reason they want one is their players all knackered after Liverpool loss.

As for Tottenham players , best thing they can do is get back on the pitch, moping about does nobody any good. To play is good chance for them and the fans , to come together and have a monent of reflection , before sticking five past Stoke

i have no idea why i get Morrison in when i could easily get siggy but i need to make some ,,wired'' transfers if since i must catch up my ML leader

last season i got luck with odenwingie and i hope that Morrison could get some serious pts next week

Dempsy-i just dont want him in my team anymore cause he play at wing now and it's not a goal threat now,and i dont wanna make same mistake like i did with Ba(keep him in for norwitch)
