Ain’t snow stopping us now. Despite the downpour of white stuff in the North-East St James’ Park is good to go to play host to Chelsea and that is where we start our Sunday affairs.

Newcastle welcome Cheikh Tiote back into their team after suspension, Sol Campbell and Steven Taylor cover for the suspended Williamson and Coloccini while Wayne Routledge comes in for Kevin Nolan who has picked up a knock. Chelsea play the eleven as revealed earlier in the week..

Chelsea XI: Cech; Bosingwa, Alex, Ivanovic, Cole; Mikel, Ramires, Malouda; Anelka, Drogba, Kalou

After we weather the storms up north we have Spurs playing host to Liverpool to warm our cockles while the gameweek comes to a close.

    So that's it then....VdV was my last throw of the dice....

    38 goals, so close on 38 assists, and what does my team have to show for it? One goal and two assists....mainly courtesy of Nani - stripped of the captaincy on the countdown to the 11.30am deadline...

    28 paltry points....in no small measure down to Drogba, Malouda, Tevez, Elmander and particularly, Arteta - an accident that I finally have to deal with this week.

    Fabregas' injury, now compounded with VdV's,and Malouda and Arteta's under-achieving, has left my midfield in tatters - can't even find the enthusiasm to watch last night's MOTD.

    Fantasy Football has always been good fun - this season it really sucks.....

      I've got my wife's team into the top 1k by taking risks, and my own team is now 700,000 by playing (what I thought was) sensibly. It has been one strange season so far.

        i am not the only one to captain davies....agreed he hasn't done good but so did elmander ,drog n vdv...i captained davies because he saved by gw14 so i wanted to give him a chance so what if it is backfired!!!i am 20000 today may be 200000 next week...this season is so unpredictable!!!

    Well captain Drogba did nothing for me, I still don't have the balls to drop him as there is over half the season left and he will end up bagging lots of points.
