The best Arsenal players to sign for Blank Gameweek 27

Fantasy Premier League managers are looking to Arsenal to plug the gaps in their squads for Blank Gameweek 27.

With Manchester City, Everton, Chelsea and Brighton all without a fixture next weekend, Southampton’s trip to north London has grabbed the attention of many.

The Saints have just six points from a possible 24 in their last eight away matches, which they have lost by a score of 16 goals to 10, so the interest is understandable.

In this latest Members’ Article, we have analysed which of Arsenal’s options are the best to consider for Blank Gameweek 27, as well as for the future.

We will also be comparing these top Gunners against assets from other teams to look at the broader issue of how to factor Blank Gameweek 27 into our long-term plans.

I'd love to say sterling but there are just more good options in midfield than attack so aguero.

I already have raheem though and I won't be selling.

Dgws would be way more interesting if more good sides only had a single. Choosing between dgw bottom 14 and sgw top six a lot more of a challenge.

Actually DGW 32 is fascinating for the United City fixture. You’d have to think that OGS roulette might come into play too to add to the Pep fun.

Good game for Man City defence owners in TFF this.

Who will be the scapegoat for Man City at HT though?

Sane, Foden, Jesus, Mahrez and Danilo have been poor IMO. But you know Zinchenko will get the blame

Crazy to do Salah + Rashford > Mane + Aguero (-4) in gw 28?

    Would leave me with this:
    Sterling Mane Eriksen Son Pogba
    Aguero Rondon

    2) Luiz > Kola
    3) Hazard > Mane
    4) Hazard, Kamara > Hayden/Moutinho, Auba (-4)
    5) Luiz, Kamara > Kola, Rondon (-4)

Fab (Button) /// Robbo, AWB, Bednarek, Doherty (Luiz)
Salah, Son, Pogba (Siggy, Hazard) /// Rashford, Jimenez (Kamara)

If Chelsea were to advance to the Semi-Finals of the Europa League and FA.Cup, would their GW27 match vs BHA get moved to GW35, meaning they'd have WHU, BUR and BHA all at Home as a TGW?

As I have no wildcard. If Chelsea and the remaining PL teams win, how screwed on a scale of 1-10 am I?

What even would a no WC strategy be?!

FH in 31? Load up on DGWers for 32? Then hope they all go out of FA Cup in time for 34?!

      Me too have no WC

    5. fedolefan
      • 9 Years

Couldn't care less about no WC. Picks get points. Had Sterling(c) in DGW, loads had Sane(TC), and that did nothing.

I have no WC and I'm easily going to have 10 (with a hit) in GW31 assuming Puncheon and a future transfer (Haz/2nd City mid) don't have a game. Currently I'm FHing in 32, my transfers upto GW31, allow me maybe 8 in GW33 which I'm happy with.

The other strategy I'm considering is a slightly sub-optimal GW32 with no FH, but I will have maybe a few DGWers from the big teams and use the TC to counter the DGW overload from the rest and then FH in 34/35. Pool play a big team in 32, 34, so that makes it a little easier to navigate since most will have the same players from Pool and the other big team.

Hi.....can anyone sense check this for me please?

By next week I should have 5 players that we know now play gw31.....salah robbo. Fab Anderson. Mcneil

I want to being in 3 or 4 decent options for bgw31...possibly taking a big hit rather than bringing them in earlier.

Then I can free hit on 32....wildcard in 34....and bench boost 35.

    Thanks
