Ain’t snow stopping us now. Despite the downpour of white stuff in the North-East St James’ Park is good to go to play host to Chelsea and that is where we start our Sunday affairs.

Newcastle welcome Cheikh Tiote back into their team after suspension, Sol Campbell and Steven Taylor cover for the suspended Williamson and Coloccini while Wayne Routledge comes in for Kevin Nolan who has picked up a knock. Chelsea play the eleven as revealed earlier in the week..

    Defoe was far from bad, several times making himself very difficult to cover.
    
    Bassong was far from bad, and did everything he needed to do once he entered the game. Torres really targeted him as soon as he stepped on the pitch, and I think the fact that the Spaniard was contained is a testament to Bassong.
    
    Also, MaxiRod earned a place on the bad list above everyone you name....besides Palacios, maybe.

      Dunno what game you were watching, Defoe was awful. Selfishly shooting rather than passing, most of which were blocked out, missed that sitter Carragher blocked, missed penalty, kept losing the ball.. simply dreadful.
      
      I said Bassong was good, in particular the 2 last ditch tackles on Torres were class. I don't know why Arry insists on playing Kaboulsh*t ahead of him.

        Finally someone who agrees that Kaboul is sh*T! I thought I was the only one saying that! All the bad fouls near the box have cost us several points.
        
        Obviously is was a terrible penalty, and I know what you are talking about when he should have passed, but if we are getting on him for blocked shots, then Bale was even worse. At the very least, Defoe kept their centerbacks honest enough for Crouch to create a good bit of space.

        At least Chelsea's fixtures archive on their website has records of us winning there. It doesn't go back far enough for United's last win. I had to do some heavy googling to find out when you lot last won in west London.

i'm debating whether it's wildcard time or just make a couple transfers at a time patiently with hits...

obvious moves are arteta>nasri, coleman>kolarov and i'm getting impatient w/drogs but bought at 12.9 and now he's 12.8 and don't see the point in losing money on him if i'm just going to bring him back at some point.
