Papiss Cisse and Hatem Ben Arfa offer some food for thought to digest over the Sunday roast, sparkling with goals and assists in Newcastle’s win at the Hawthorns. With tomorrow night’s clash at Old Trafford still to come, our members can now soak up some of the key numbers from the Gameweek so far and get our view on where the Fantasy Premier League bonus points could be heading…
Krul
Assou-Ekotto, Vermaelen, Evans
Dempsey, Young, Sigurdsson, Sessegnon
van Persie (vc), Adebayor, Rooney (c)
Subs.: Mignolet, Song, Kelly, Ridgewell
So far.Open ControlsVery good, although i would go with Valencia instead of Young
Open Controlslike ridgewell, not seen much about him on here.proven fantasy performer, while not a great actual payer. always in with a chance of bundling home a scabby corner though.
Open Controls5/15 in common. not bad
Open Controls
I see everyone jumping on the Vermaelen bandwagon, what about John Terry? He is tempting me, better clean sheet potential, just 1 less goal this season
Open ControlsWhat should I make about Sess? Back in the team and back with a goal. Sunderlands fixtures arent great but many people have said at this stage of the season form>fixtures.
Open ControlsI am throwing caution to the winds, and having a go!

What a dismal week...20 points!!
Now do i keep Walters and Ba?Open ControlsBelieve me its not out of choice..there was always other issues to deal with. I can't help but feel i might aswell stick now!
Open ControlsSame boat here, I also still have walters... always had more pressing transfers to do, and thus for me he stays. Then again I've not really concentrated on price rises either earlier in the season (meaning I haven't been able to upgrade) and hate taking point hits. my new moto for next season is make transfers early in the week to capitalise on price rises... oh and buy players with low % owners at the beginning too as I don't want to get stuck with another player who just plummets in value whilst I keep them thinking their fixtures are decent enough and I have other transfer to do (a la N'Zogbia!!!)
Open Controls
A) Skrtel > Huth
B) Ba > 8m Forward
C) Save transfer
Opinions?Open ControlsOn tilt (drinking vino) & need help-sold BAE & YaYa this week. Everyone lauhing at me. Suggestions welcome.
Krul Ruddy
Verm Enrique Evans Richards Senderos
Siggy Valentia Bale Dempsey Surman
RVP Ba Suarez
I free transfer (wildcard available & in contention for mini league)
HELP!!!!!Open ControlsGet Rooney in there. Swap Surman for McClean. Get rid of Enrique and trade down Richards to free up cash for Rooney.
Open Controls
Vorm Mig
Enrique Sktrel Kelly Evans Santon
Sess Siggy Bale Valencia Morrison
Roon RVP Suarez
Thinking Shawcross/Huth and Walcott in, Sess and Enrique out for a hit? Will be chasing a 20 point deficit this month before final gw, so need to do a gamble somewhere. Wigan are just not scoring and if Moses is out theyre toothless, and QPR are just terrible so thinking Theo/RVP can rip it up there. Thoughts anyone?Open ControlsI'd go for Verm over Stoke defs if you can afford him. Bordering on essential now imo.

Have we still not ANY info on the posponed GW34 fixtures ❓
Open Controlsapologies if hashed to death already,... but is gameweek 34 likely to be as per the scout schedule?
Open ControlsIm unsure to, the midweek is free so I don't see why they all aren't played then ❓
Open ControlsThere won't be any word on it until Thursday at the earliest I think. If Spurs and Bolton draw then they'll need another replay.
There's also semi finals are played at Wembley. Last season of the 4 semi-finalists, only Man Utd played their scheduled PL match midweek after the fa cup weekend as they were still in the champions league. But since the Euros are on this summer the PL season ends 2 weeks earlier. It's still anyone's guess what happens.Open Controls
Cisse, Jelavic, Holt, crouch, or welbeck for Graham?
Open ControlsHas to be cisse on his form. Just wait for injury news on cisse though.
Open Controls
getting rid of Suarez....have Rooney and RVP
Who's the best striker for a 1 wk punt next week?Open ControlsSo, whats going on with the team selection ❓
Vorm & Any
Evans, Caulker, NEW, LIV, ANY.
Is it mainly 3 big hitters in midfield with Siggy and another cheapy.
RVP, Rooney & ????????Open ControlsSiggy is a biig hitter now
My planned team from GW33
Schwarzer and Mingolet
Evans, Caulker, Verm, Santon, Skrtel
Theo, Bale, McClean, Siggy, Barfa
Rvp, Rooney, Hernandez.Open ControlsIts a brilliant team. So good that you have always have 10+ points on your bench everyweek. 🙂
Open ControlsI would also have enough spare cash to upgrade any mid I wanted, or Skrtel to Baines, or Santon to Heitinga, Distin, Jags, ShawX, Huth or Kaboul.
Open Controls
My Planned team from GW33
Vorm, Sorenson
Evans, Verm, Baines, Caulker, Simpson
Tony V, Walcott, Bale, Siggy, £5.4m
RVP, Rooney,YakOpen Controls5.4? Has to be Barfa.
Siggy and Barfa only perform away, and they rotate perfectly in this regard.Open ControlsTurns out I did Silva + Ben Arfa ➡ Bale + Walcott Saturday Evening, bad timing eh 🙂
Open Controlsoh dear.
I can also take Santon out with that team if I need to and get kaboul to rotate with Skrtel or lose Skrtel to Baines.Open Controls
haha yeah I have considered that away rotation but isn't Siggy a big hitter? surely he should play every week and its not often Swansea lose at home
Open ControlsSiggy is a big hitter, but he only seems to score away. He also rotates well with McLean, but McClean seems to better at home, which is unfortunate.
Open ControlsJK - I love your team ... BUT ... I would advise caution with Hernandez.
Open Controls
Everton have some good fixtures coming up and I'm thinking Distin or Jagielka for Skrtel
Open ControlsNot bad as Everton at this stage of season is good value.
Open Controls
Cisse seems like the best bet. Cant see Everton or Stoke scoring enough and Holt and Welbeck are rotation risks.
Open ControlsI need to get rid of suarez. Aguero or Adebayor....first to 3 wins?
Open ControlsShould I start Senderos ahead of Skrtel this week? 😆
Btw, this is a serious questionOpen Controlsthanks this is my team you think it will be too top heavy am 25 points behind so takin a little risk
krull ruddy
williams mcauley evans shotton raylor
bale demps mclean sig valenicia
rvp rooney suarez
n got 2.6 mill in bank/ is swap suarez to kun can free 1 mill to upgarde elsewhere.
av caught up 150 point in my league n 57k overall which am pretty happy with after a crap startOpen ControlsCould definitely do with more investment in defense. Try and get Verm in. Keep Suarez for now
Open Controlsi know what you sayin about defense but since i changed tactics in mid december n went either 3 top forward n 4 top mid or 5 mid n 2 top strikers av moved up so much, i dont know if that is luck or what but am in with a chance in 2 leagues worth about 400 quid each am 28 n 34 points behind both of them but the teams above me are generic. i think i could get verm
Open Controls
Friedel / Vorm
Evans / Verm / Cahil / Caulker / Wilkinson
Mata / Bale / Siggy / McClean / Valencia
Adebayor / Rooney / RVP(C)
Comments?Open ControlsNo transfers are really appealing to me this week tbh.
Vorm, Schwarzer
Evans, Kompany, Simpson, Enrique, Kelly
Valencia, Bale, McClean, Gylfi, Dempsey
RVP, Suarez, Rooney
£1m banked so I suppose i could do Enrique to Vermaelen or Sagna. Might just leave it.Open ControlsGuys,
Really need some advise..
Need to get Suarez out but I'm struggling to decide to get either Pappis or pog in..
Anyodeas?Open ControlsRight lads, some help is needed 🙂
Krul, Mig
Evans, Caulker, Santon, Skrtel, Kelly
Bale, Silva, Siggy, Sess, Valencia
RVP, Rooney, Ba
2 FT 1.1m Bank
Top of my league ( 50 odd points ) but beed to put some life into my team
A: Skrtel + Ba -> Verm + Cisse ( If hes ok )
B: Skrtel + Santon + Silva -> Verm + ShawX + Walcott ( 4pt hit )
C. Skrtel -> Verm and save transfer
D: Any recommendations?
Really stuck this week with what to do so any help appreciatedOpen ControlsA. Throw in Silva--->Walcott for a hit if you fancy it

A bit harsh on RDMOpen ControlsIs it me or does Ba > Ade seem like a really dodgy move. Especially if you already have Bale
Open ControlsI dont trust Ades finishing. He works hard yes and could get you assists but his finishing is terrible.
Open ControlsIt's hard to know, it's certainly a big risk getting such an inconsistent player who costs 9.0. But I do feel he has one or two big hauls left in him, we just need to find our form really.
Open ControlsIf you have a spare United slot, Ba to Hernandez. If that 3rd spot is Young sell him, if it's Tony V, maybe get Drogs, Dave, or drop down to Yak?
Open Controls
I am in the same boat as many and shipping Ba out this week. Considering Ade (fixtures) and Cisse (form). Not really concerned by money at the moment, but guess it should always be in my mind to some degree. All along I've just assumed I would make the move to Ade, but Cisse's consistency certainly pushes him into the picture. Has a pedigree of scoring as well. Might be tough to overlook. Any thoughts?
Open ControlsYep, they were the 2 I was considering and I did Ba > Cisse. I like the look of him, really clinical finisher and he's playing centre-forward with Ba pushed deep. Adebayor could do well but I think he's too inconsistent for a player of his price.
Open ControlsAgreed Dugg, and you are a Spurs' fan. I agree with what you said earlier that Ade has a big game or two left in him, but perhaps I should be happy with the (apparent ... so far) consistency of Cisse and spend the money elsewhere. Would give me the potential to upgrade multiple spots for the homstretch. I also have Bale and BAE for the Spurs, which is probably enough until goals start to come easier again (which I think it will soon ... thus the temptation to get in early rather than late).
Open Controls
Yeah I think this might be the selection dilemma of the week. A classic form vs fixtures scenario. Cisse should be fine to start but it wasn't that long ago people were trying to get rid of him. Could be a bit hot and cold not unlike Adebayor. In this instance I'd back the fixtures as form can be fleeting at times

1 more chance for demba ba?
Can I really sell my liverpool defender when they have villa home after newcastle?
Rooney or RVP captain?
3 most popular questions this week?Open Controls1- No way
2 - yes, Ireland or someone shit will score from nothing
3 - no clue, will be a ball ache to decide and I will get it wrongOpen Controls1. he has to go so the new question is who for?
2. Yes you can but do it now or wait till after villa
3. Trust your gutOpen Controlsthats it guys ... theres no 3rd striker crying out to me. Cisse maybe but still not sure.
if agger is back soon i might keep but if liverpool can let in two against wigan what hope do i have.
robin surely wont go another game without anything but rooney is facing one of the most leaky defences in the league.... and revenge for the old trafford meeting.
hmmmm lots to ponderOpen Controls3rd striker - can I offer you Hernandez?
Open Controls
Assuming P.Cisse injury is nothing, I will do Ba--->Cisse. Skrtel has to go too, which defender to bring in for Skrtel - money is not an issue? It will be for -4, but I have nothing to play for this season so a hit is fine by me. Ta
1 - Cahill/Terry
2 - Huth
3 - Verm
4 - Baines (promised not to buy an Everton player after being burnt by Drenthe)Open ControlsBut a defender for a hit gets you nothing, unless they get a CS *AND* score.
Which means you have to get Verm. But I think it's folly.Open ControlsAs I said I am not too bothered about taking a hit and getting the points back in 1 week, the points can be paid back in time. Plus there is every chance Verm could score vs QPR!
Open ControlsFaulty logic. If he'll 'come good' in some weeks, then wait to pick him up, pay nothing, and you'll be ahead. Or, don't trade out a playing player like Ba, just because you're miffed at him.
Say what you want, but this 'nothing to play for this season' is just a way to avoid actually learning how to play better for next year. Frankly, I can't see why you'd expect anything different.
Cheers with the kneejerking 😀Open ControlsWell Ba has to go, yes partly because I am miffed at him. Other Demba has come in played as the main man for 5 weeks or so no. Do not see that as a knee jerk move really.
Perhaps the Skrtel transfer is knee jerking, I can see that.Open Controls
Walker?
Open ControlsGot BAE and not keen on double. Good shout otherwise
