We’ve been here before. Seven days ago we were waxing lyrical about the efforts of Papiss Cisse and Hatem Ben Arfa – a week later, we’re at it again having seen both combine to unravel a hapless Liverpool.

Cisse’s brace took him to seven in as many games, while at the Lane, Emmanuel Adebayor confirmed himself as a rival for a slot in our squads, as he returned to goalscoring form.

      I'm thinking of winging it in the predictable low scoring GW and planning all for the DGW's. A strong 8 man squad could pay off if you then put all your thought into the DGW's.

      My saving grace is my main rival also captained RvP. Guy in 3rd captained Rooney but he is 80 points behind me. A Berba hat-trick in a 5-0 win will do nicely. Just one goal for Rooney, the other for Evans.

    Watchlist:
    Ade, Mata, Studge, Baines*, HBA
    Not enough? Well, I don't feel any defenders are worth it, particularly for a hit and who do I get from Chelsea? Mata and Sturridge will possibly rotate with Champions League ties around. BOL/POOL players don't seem worth it to me.

      defenders i'd say baines if he has a double. bae/walker also could be worth it. and if you have enrique, skrtel, simpson, and/or kelly mmight as well play them though not sure i'd be rushing to bring any of them in

      in mf i'd be looking at bale and vdv mostly and perhaps gerrard or hba.
      up front i think it's gotta be cisse or ade (or both)

      im opting for baines, vdv, cisse and ade as my new players im adding in who will be supplementing bale, and two out of enrique, kelly and simpson

                  They have a lot of scope, trying to build a team in the last third of the season is to be avoided. what I still believe may pull of an amazing escape is the freshness of the team. So many player that haven't played much. Arsenal and liverpool both appeared to tire later on.

                    Beating Swansea is key, Chelsea are involved in a lot of games, not impossible to pick up points there, plus Man Citys title could be lost by the time we play them, which makes it a winable game suddenly.

    I need to replace Ba tonight before he drops in price. Which of these 3 do you reckon will score more in the next 3 GW's. Cisse & Ade will mean I play with 10 players GW34 unless I take a 4pt hit which I dont think will pay off if they are likely to score more in the next 2 GW's compared to Bendtner over 3.

      Judging from the transfers ppl are making, either they are all sorted for GW34 or they have the DGW blinkers on and don't realise that GW34 is effectively a DGW considering that there are only a select number of teams who have an extra game to the others. I'm 3 transfers off a full team for GW34. Better to have players who could get something decent in one match of GW35/36 than those who are guaranteed to get a zero in GW34.
