In tonight’s Members article, we pay another visit to the Team Statistics area. With plenty of data available to help with your Fantasy choices, we analyse each side’s performance in the previous Gameweek both from a defensive and attacking point of view.

Digging deeper, we then pick apart the previous four Gameweeks from a cumulative perspective, looking at any patterns or even anomalies that have recently emerged as we continue our planning for those crucial final five Gameweeks of the season:

        Details? Obvious, isnt it?

        Skrtel, Bale, Ryo > Turner Sess Walcott

        It hurts so bad.

        But I decided that finishing 1001th is basically the same as finishing 4999th. If I don't make top 1k, it doesn't matter. I'm tired of spending week after week unable to get higher. All the people who I was way ahead in ranking have all made up a ton of ground lately, and I haven't.

        So I'm sick of it, and it was time to do something crazy. So Now I'll have Seven at the most, and I'll have to choose to leave out one of Ade, Baines, or BAE, which sucks, but O well, I've got eleven this week, I guess.

        Still........... I really hate myself right now.

          Ah, I already have those 3... 😉

          Normally an 8 pointer is a massive no no for me, but when you can't field players I think it's worth it. The upside for Walcott and Sess is huge. FWIW I think it will prove to be a profitable trade.

          Of the 3 to leave out for GW36, unless Ade remembers how to finish he's the one to go. Otherwise probably BAE. Or just take another hit!! 😉

            I'm already gonna take a hit to get Bale, Baines, and BAE. It would be 8 to get Ade.

            Don't think I'll be doing that. I'll settle for 7 DGWers.

            I really doubt those 3 will score as well as you say.

            I'm just sick and tired of sucking at this game.

              They are perhaps a little optimistic, although something like

              SUN 2-0 WOL (Turner cleanie, Sess 1 goal, assist and 3 BPs)
              ARS 2-1 WIG (Walcott 1 goal and 1 BP)

              are definitely possible

                Meh, that's just because of what I did in the first half. When it really counts, I bottled it. I haven't had a truly good week since. All I've done is float while everyone else caught me.

                  Not so sure. Yeah you've not had any stellar weeks recently, but you're only 152 places behind your season best rank, so it's not exactly been a collapse. Also (speaking from no experience here) it gets tough at the top - very few poor players so you're unlikely to see massive jumps unless you get lucky with a few differentials.

                  Reckon we'll both make the top 1k (and some). Positive Thinking!!! 🙂

                    Yeah, I'm only 152 behind my best rank: I think its a testament to how badly I've begun to just float.

                    I'm glad you're so positive. Have fun in the top 1k. It's like a nice club that won't let me it. Have fun inside, if anyone asks, I'm out here in the cold.

                    I'll just be out here telling the bouncer how there's no way Siggy is gonna outscore dyer by enough to justify the .5 difference in price.

          I've always felt the transfers are what makes the game fun. I'm in the same position, the reluctance to make trades makes me feel like I'm two weeks behind in the rotation ... delayed Cisse, Walcott, etc. because I was afraid of the penalties. We know how that plan worked out ...

          And I seem forever locked out of the top 1000. Frankly, I wish I had your stones. Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war --

            lol It's desperation dude.

            My head HATES the rest of me for what I just did to my team. But I'm just sick of not breaking into that top 1k. I'm just treading water over here, and its stopped being fun.

            I was late to Siggy, Walcott, and Cisse. Those 3 alone have made 2012 miserable for me.

            My stones are nothing special: I'm just sick of being awful at this game. Most people have my exact team without an 8 point hit: so who cares? At this point, I feel like I'm limiting damage, even if I'm not.

            do what you gotta do, but: I'm just sick and tired of the same old. Everyone I was way ahead of have caught me, and it was time for action.

              Within top 2K and 100 points ahead in what looks to be your primary ML is *anything but* 'awful at this game' ... but I recognize your frustration.

              You'll do fine - those trades will pay for themselves, you'll feel better about the game, get a fat green arrow, the air will be crisper and water will taste better.

                I have never ever believed in the phrase fortune Favors the bold. It's actually the opposite of the attitude that got me this far.

                This wasn't done because I was bold....its because I was desperate.

                My primary mini-leage is 8 dead teams. Doesn't matter one bit to me.

                I'm not even sure it will be a green arrow. I think most players in the top 2k are smart enough to already have the team I have now without the hit.

                I hope you're right: I'm just not feeling too good. I'll actually be surprised if those 3 make up the hit.

      I shall enjoy an 8 pt head start but you will enjoy having two possibly three extra players. I think it will work out for you. The problem is though you'll have to take another series of hits to get DGW players in GW36. I won't need to do that as much.

      That said after considering the merits of Adebayor and Bale I've decided Ade is far more useless. Think I might take a wild punt on Tevez, why not

    I'll probably regret saying this, but I think if we win against Wigan on Monday then top 4 is in the bag. Will put us 8 points clear of 4th/5th (having played a game more) with only 4 games left. Surely even we can't throw it away from there.

          I was pondering over whether to get Ben Arfa or not, could play Siggy bench Tony V(who I was originally taking out for HBA) and get in someone for Verm as I can't afford to keep him. £6.3m to spend on the final spot, Walker or Kaboul, don't fancy BAE as price rises will mean I need the spare cah.

    Real dilema this week

    a) Bring in 2 players that are useless ro replace the two less needed for the double

    In my case bring in couple of cheap villa players (ireland +defender) Knowing they will do poorly this week
    but could go well next with a double. Added advantage is only have to lose Kelly and Miachi

    B) Bring in Sess and Aguero , for a chance of going big this week , downside is lose Bale and Suarez so will be less well off come he double

    Just cant decide

      B. With Sess, you have the added bonus of better fixtures thereafter.

      Bale isn't in form.

      I think the fixtures have to be a guide and so too, the form of players and team. The form of BOL and VIL put me right off investment in those teams. Not worth the hassle of bringing them in and then bootin' imo.

    McCauley (QPR), Caulker (BLA), Vermaelen (WIG), JEvans (AVL)
    Siggy (BLA), Walcott (WIG)
    Bendtner (WOL), Rooney (AVL), RVP (WIG)

    with Ruddy, Barfa, Dempsey, Kelly, Bale on bench.

    1.1 in bank and was planning on going with 10 and saving FT for next week to switch Hart>Krul and Bendtner>Cisse in GW 35.

    Thoughts?

        I think he'll play. O'Neill said he was suffering from a "sore back" so I think that it was just a case of 2 games in 3 nights being a little too much for him.
        A bit of rest should sort him out... in my opinion.

      It seems a not-unpopular punt around here.

      And, as this pains me to think, let alone say: City likely have gained huge confidence, whilst Utd just looked ... bad. With Balo on the outs and Tevez/Silva looking on the rebound, Kun could blow up.

      For me, I'm still unsure about how Tevez will affect gameplay/scoring ... so I'm going to watch for a bit. I consider Rooney the conservative choice. But if you're looking for a strong differential, you got it.
