"Who got the assist?" and "Always cheating" are good, I like the fact that always cheating is an American one because they aren't quite so blinded with loyalty towards certain teams, you get a more honest assessment.

Fantasy football hub have just launched one, it was their first episode yesterday and it was really good.

    Morning all

I have been off distracting myself with non-FPL matters this week (I know, I know ...) mostly to take my mind off my dilemma. Would appreciate your advice.

After my 'mare at the start of IB, I am currently on a -4 with Salah, Mané but no MCI. On a scale of 1-10 how badly is my OR going to plummet? If we get any indication from Klopp that Salah doesn't play this week would it be madness to consider Salah > Sterling for a hit?

    -4 1.3itb
    Pope
    TAA, Lunds, Soy
    Salah*, Mané, Maddison, Mount
    Vardy (C), Abraham, Jimi
    (McGovern) (Willems, Rico, Dendo)

    Thanks!

Wouldn't take the extra hit if Salah only out one week as could well be an extra trans to reverse it soon as well.

        I know but:
        1. No MCI!!?
        2. £12.3m sitting on the bench

        Both feel extremely unappealing!

If you were to get rid, how about down to a Pulisic or Martial and use extra next week to do a def to Robbo or beef up Mount (to Dilva?) whose form seems to be suffering since Pulisic got in the team?

Yep Mount on the chopping block for sure but don’t see it as a priority.

My original plan for this week was just Boly > Robbo and hold KDB. The universe had other plans though so I think I will probably have to sit tight and ride out the storm!

I saw what happened. Sometimes the universe is just against you (or maybe it is helping? too early to say).
If Salah injury is something that might hover over him all season, maybe it is worth losing him now though...

I know what you mean and sometimes just sucking it up and reversing a “bad” move is the right way forward. Will wait til last minute and see what the general feeling is re Salah this week.

                Fun times!

Anytime you look at 1 week only.
a)player going out is not playing
b)player coming in is a captain pick
      c) Both a rise and a drop expected.

Now all I have to do is listen to my own advice

      1. Don Kloppeone

You obv make reasonable points. The main issue is that I never would have deliberately made the moves I did to go without MCI this week. It’s premature and now I’m stuck with Salah who looks to have an ongoing issue which for FPL makes him a liability.

My pessimistic side thinks this could be a week I struggle to recover from if MCI tear it up against CHE

I have the exact same lineup and I usually finish under 10k end of season. I did kdb to Mane so no city as well but with salah and mane, city assets are just one transfer away. I would put Rico first on bench though

      1. Don Kloppeone
        • 6 Years

Thank that actually makes me feel slightly better!

Congrats on a great season history. We are actually on a similar OR and trajectory for this season. I’ve generally been top 50k last couple of seasons so this one has been a struggle so far.

My main worry is Salah being affected medium to longer term by this injury but as you say it’s an easy swap to Sterling/ KDB.

Sterling or KDB could punish us this week though!

Willems (avl) v Rico (WOL) is a tough one imo.

Their stats are close. Willems more likely to score, Rico more likely to create/ assist.

AVL’s defensive (home) stats look worse than WOL’s defensive (away) stats which is why I currently have Willems first but it’s a bit of a coin toss

Team with the least Big Chances conceded at home in the last 4:

    Brighton

Team with the least Big Chances conceded away in the last 4:

    Everton

    Leicester's next 2 opponents.

I don't understand how Brighton can be pretty sound defensively at home, but the polar opposite playing away?

Vardy has 10 goals and 3 assists in 9 games. And Brighton will be without Dunk and maybe Webster too. Also think the way Brighton play at home may suit Leicester's style.

Head says he's still a great captaincy pack this week.

A: Sterling and Lascelles > Mane and Janmaat.

B: Auba and KDB > Jimmy and Mane, leaves funds to bring in Soy and/or Pulisic next GW.

    C: Something else?

Could do Richarlison + Connolly to Tammy + Dendonker for free next week...but then I'll have what seems to have become the dreaded template forward line of Vardy/Jimenez/Tammmy and I hate template lol

Agree on the template but already have cheap Vardya and cheapish Abraham so hard to move off it.

I'm looking to push more money into midfield and the back to stretch the template look.Contemplating going KdB Mane Son Pulisic Maddison across the middle by 14 and then double Liverpool at the back by 16.

Pulisic and Son are currently in differential territory and I'm not seeing them paired anywhere much with KdB Mane.

yeah, I like the potential of the Son & Pulisic combo for sure mate! Not sure what I'll do yet, already have the LIV defensive double up in place but if Robbo's injury woes are concerning I might get rid and go back to PVA or even triple up on SHU defence for a few GWs, that would get some negativity on here lol

                Like your midfield by 14.

I aim to have by 14 something similar:

                Mane - Dilva - Pulisic - Son - Martial

I've actually had Robbo & TAA since gw1 but I'm sick of their lack of clean sheets. Feels wrong to ship Robertson but not sure if better fixtures mean more clean sheets in their case.

I lack 1.1m to have the team you suggested, but thanks anyways!

Look at Palace vs Burnley fixtures for the next 10 GWs
