The Dugout Discussion opens for the concluding fixture of Gameweek 34, which sees 17th placed Wigan Athletic travel down the 3rd placed Arsenal. The team news for the game is in, and the sides line-up as follows…

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Djourou, Vermaelen, Andre Santos, Song, Arteta, Walcott, Rosicky, Benayoun, van Persie.

Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa, Boyce, McCarthy, McArthur, Beausejour, Moses, Di Santo, Gomez.

A single change from the side that brushed Wolves aside for the Gunners, as Tomas Rosicky comes in for Aaron Ramsey in midfield.

Despite condemning Manchester United to only their fourth defeat of the season, Shaun Maloney isn’t in the visitors squad. Jordi Gomez replaces the Malaysian born Scot.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

How many minutes is the arse going to leave before taking Walcott off? Will he come on at all 2nd half? So much for my captain choice. Its a shame I'm deluded to think I can still win my mini-league!

Hmmm. You could be right but I still think he's one of the better defenders in the league.

His horror show against AC Milan did nothing for my belief in his abilities but that was a particularly poor showing. Great FPL prospect.

I beg to differ. He's 26, reads the game brilliantly, possesses a great jump, distributes well and goes into tackles hard when necessary. You can't ask for more from a defender if you ask me. What he needs is a regular CB partner who adequately complements him.

Talking seriously, even if RVP scores a couple Rooney-style in the second half, I really fancy both Aguero and Tev to rip WOL a new one. With an improved CHE, 36 being a double and brutal STO for RVP, I may risk it without him for a couple of games. Acting fast has been the way to play this year.

I'll get him back for NOR and WBA.
