As the scrap for survival enters the final four Gameweeks of the season, today’s Members article assesses the top performers from the bottom five sides over each side’s respective last four fixtures. Using our own ICT Index and the Opta stats available, we analyse the top five from each of the relegation candidates, assessing their form and the potential offered ahead of what will prove to be a frantic finish to the 2011/12 Premier League campaign. As luck would have it, this also doubles up as an assessment of those players in form amongst the ranks of Villa and Bolton – those teams with two fixtures in Gameweek 35…

      I don't want to double up on the Blackburn attack now but I'd have to make an extra transfer otherwise and point hits are costly in this league. Hopefully Hoilett can make it, Yak definitely seems to be out so I'd go for Goodwillie after checking out the team news the night before on here.

        Interesting. I kind of lost faith after his performance against Wigan. I think it's a tough one. Although he is at home, Chelsea should be stretched, Sunderland don't have form and Villa should be fighting hard. Hmm, maybe not such a tough one.

      I think Ade. He's another that 'should' score big and 'looks' good but he's not really doing it. And he's 'due' a big score but...I'd be tempted to drop him. Although the same could be said and more for Bale. In fact, I'd drop Bale. Forget the first half of this post!

      I always go with the extra midfielder as first sub, regardless of who the defender benched is, or is playing against.

    anyone agree that Dempsey has very hard fixtures coming up and may not be worth bringing in? His DGW are 2 away games to Everton and Liverpool !!! Up until his last away game, he was having a mare away from the cottage

      he's basically playing as a striker while Pog is out and is on free kicks and pens. Liverpool's defence is not great and Baines is injured. Good chance of a decent return IMO even if Fulham don't get results

    Hi guys, next week I was planning on doing Rooney/Silva/Sess > Cisse/Dempsey/VDV (-4pts) which will give me the following team with 8 *DGWeekers

    *Krul (Vorm)
    *Kaboul, *Enrique, *Santon (Evans, McAuley)
    *Dempsey, *VDV, Walcott, Siggy (Valencia)
    *Cisse, *Adebayor, RVP

    ML leader has same 3 strikers and I’m trying to catch up 37pt deficit. Should I

    a) Go ahead as above and hope rest of team makes up the points
    b) Also do Walcott > Mata/Lampard for a –8 to give me extra DGW cover
    c) Keep Rooney and do Sess/Silva/Valencia > HBA/Dempsey/VDV
    d) Anything else?

    Any opinions will be gratefully received

              Actually C looks good - I suppose Walcott could be saved and stay on the bench for 36 as the rest of the team is good. He has a nice last 2 fixtures and could be a good differential over those last two games.

          In that's case, don't do the defender trade. Not worth it. You would need x2 cleanes and none for verm to make a net 6pt gain. That's is unlikely.

          If verm keeps a a clean, and cole x2 cs = 2pt gain.

          Anything other scenario your at a loss. Keep your 4pts my friend... 🙂

    Chasing 25 pts on mini league leader, about 60 ish in front of 3rd. He has Sir Clint and Siggy and Cisse, I have Suarez Walcott and Sess

    Transferred our Rooney(he has also) and McClean for Tevez(c) and HBA

    One week punt on King Carlos and back to Cisse for DGW

    9k ranking is highest of the season but money mini league far more important!!

      I was very tempted by Weimann but I think I'll just ignore it. Team looks so much better if instead I bring in form players with a decent home fixture followed by a DGW. Dempsey and Cisse will be 2 free transfers well spent.
