As the scrap for survival enters the final four Gameweeks of the season, today’s Members article assesses the top performers from the bottom five sides over each side’s respective last four fixtures. Using our own ICT Index and the Opta stats available, we analyse the top five from each of the relegation candidates, assessing their form and the potential offered ahead of what will prove to be a frantic finish to the 2011/12 Premier League campaign. As luck would have it, this also doubles up as an assessment of those players in form amongst the ranks of Villa and Bolton – those teams with two fixtures in Gameweek 35…

This double gameweek ain't worth investing in imho. I'll perhaps have 2 Spurs 1 Newcastle 1 Liverpool at max. Fixtures elsewhere like Swansea vs Wolves are more tastier than Everton's 2 matches put together.

    I suppose playing the defenders form the overall better teams is probably the right way to go. I'm personally umming and arring between BAE or Cauk for the final defensive position (also have Verm and Jevans).

Huge debate in over who to bench and captain;

Bogdan (SWA,avl) Mingolet (avl)
JEvans (EVE) , Kompany (wol), Simpson (STO), Kelly (WIG), Enrique (WBA)
BArfa (STO), Nasri (wol), Valencia (EVE), Bale (qpr), Miyachi (SWA, avl)
Suarez (WBA) , Van Persie (CHE) , Rooney (EVE).

Leaning towards captaining suarez and benching mingolet, valencia, enrique and kelly.

  I actually would bench Miyaichi over Valencia. He'll probably only get about 110 minutes or so. Suarez is risky but a decent gamble I guess. I'd rather go with the security of an RvP or Bale.

I've changed my opinion on getting Suarez as he is unlikely to play both games in the double whilst Cisse is.
I'm going to do Rooney -> Cisse and Moses -> Dempsey for a 4 point hit which leaves this team.

Kompany, Evans, Williamson (Kelly, Skrtel)
Dempsey(C), Valencia, Walcott, Sessegnon, Sigurdsson

  I'd go Sess > Dempsey; Moses for Wigan over last 2 games looks profitable - more motivated than Sunderland. Would look at shipping Skrtel instead of moving on Dempsey - maybe BAE?

Is 2 x Tevez > Rooney + Alternative captain + 4?

If your alternative captain is Rooney this simplifies to:

Is Tevez > Rooney + 2?, i.e. do you expect Tevez to outscore Rooney by more than 2 points?

  Not sure Everton are so attractive now that Baines will probably be out for the season and I think VdV and Bale is too much. One or the other there is better.
  
  Also, how do you make it you'd have 8 DGW'ers with those 3 transfers? At the moment yu only have 4 DGWers, Krul, CVahill, Bale and Cissé.

      Seven's plenty (I hope!) Mata would be great if he played twice, but that result last night makes that even less likely I reckon. Agree with Nomar that VDV/Bale is prob an either/or if you're getting Ade as well.
      
      BTW, is no-one concerned about Defoe/Saha taking gametime from Ade in dgw? (In case you didn't have enough to worry about!)
