FFS Cup

The latest FFS Cup fixtures and results

The draws for the sixth round of the FFS Members Cup and the seventh round of the FFS Cup have taken place following the completion of Gameweek 21.

We’re down to the final 16 Fantasy managers in both tournaments after the New Year’s Day round of fixtures.

FFS CUP

The results from the sixth round of the open-to-all 2019/20 FFS Cup are available by clicking here.

The seventh round draw in full can be accessed here.

Our highest-ranked manager in round six (more of whom below) made it through to the round of 16.

Teddy Brewski, still chasing a cup double, beat robharr to progress to the next stage.

He will play TOMYG84 in round seven.

Our only all-top 10k clash in Gameweek 22 sees Mataatti take on Leggend2: this is the former’s third successive meeting with a manager inside the top 10,000 at the point of the tie.

Our only two remaining site users who lie outside the top 100k and who remain in the FFS Cup, stamfordbridge and A Team Has No Name, meet each other in the last 16.

FFS MEMBERS CUP

The scores from the fifth round of the 2019/20 FFS Members Cup are available by clicking here.

The sixth round draw in full can be accessed here.

An impressive four of our remaining 16 managers – including the aforementioned Teddy Brewski – are currently inside the top 1k.

Our highest-ranked entrant left in either competition remains at 14th in the world after Gameweek 21.

frankiem, who first entered the top 1k four months ago, defeated Emm7980 and will meet prbaker1980 in the sixth round.

ActorJeff and BeckerCallSaul, who have overall ranks of 388th and 586th respectively, also progressed.

The aforementioned TeddyBrewski saw off moderator TorresMagic in the first Gameweek of 2020 and will next play robharr – who he coincidentally defeated in round six of the FFS Cup.

Not sure what to do was all set on saving FT this week and then doing Tammy and Rash to DCL and Ings next week and Alli to Salah following week all for free.

Should I just do Alli to Maddison now and then worry about the rest after?

1 is best but get Greenwood to DCL. 1.6m needed! Lose Hendo to a 4m and Todd to Hayden, that's close? Edge Webster down a bit if needed.

I was struggling to decide between Jimmy & DCL, but watching that match yesterday made my mind up for me. Everton looked toothless, and looking at the (understandable) anger from their fans at the result it could be a difficult atmosphere for them on Saturday. Jimenez has always been a reliable option for me.

Both good options for the time being. 0.4 diff atm; leicester are far better in defense, Dunk got more attacking potential, if you count cs as a return, they have 1-1-8 and 2-3-5, so pretty similar. Dunk is 3 yellows from 2 games ban, but it is the next 7 gameweeks, after that fixtures turn for the worse, dramatically. Soy got City and Chelsea in that period, and more reliant on cs. Is both an option? I went Dunk, and was happy playing him vs Chelsea, those next fixtures looks good for both cs and attacking returns.

Origi will playing the cup game in between the double. There is absolutely no chance that Salah and Mane are both outscored by him!

Wildcarding out Salah and Mane should result in a ban.

you can buy ings for free now, so why waste a wc on that? Ings and the cheaper strikers are not that far away from Jimi points wise, Ings is above him in points tally with 300min less played, a significant amount of those stems from early season when he was used sparsely to gain his matchfitness back. Maupay is 27 points behind him, costs 1.7 less, and played 200min less than Jimenez. granted his ppm is somewhat lower but his value is matching Jimenez. I´m not saying Jimenez is´nt a good option but i would not tear apart that team to get there?

He has one 6 pointer in last 10-12 GWs from what I recall. As an owner, it has been a frustrating ride with string of 2-3 points every week.

Whats your budget? Henderson or Fabianski is my preferred choice

Agree with this. Had Ryan for a stint and it wasn't much fun. I've gone with Guaita and he seems much more assured, Dubravka could be a good shout looking forwards.

fair point. don't want henderson as I don't like doubling up on defence, but Fab is a good call.

What to do here please guys, general consensus has been to save so I have 2FT for next week...

    Henderson
    TAA Soyuncu Lundstram
    KDB Mane Salah Grealish
    Vardy Jimenez Greenwood

    McGovern Rico Kelly Dendoncker

    1FT 1.3ITB

    1. Save FT [so I have 2FT to make changes the following gameweek]
    2. Upgrade Greenwood (-4) [would need to change Rico / Kelly to free up funds to do Greenwood >> DCL
    3. Dendoncker Swap [use FT to upgrade Dendoncker to someone like Traore, Mooy, etc... but would mean I’m priced out of changing Greenwood moving forward]
    4. Rico / Kelly >> Sidibe [play 442]

    Thanks all.

            How safe is holgate's place?

Aurier to holgate this week would give me the cash for the liverpool defence double up down the line.

Go for the attacking double up though.
