The double Gameweek delivers. Tottenham’s four goal haul at the Reebok sees Harry Redknapp’s men share the Fantasy spoils, while Papiss Cisse adds two “worldies” to his incredible goal tally at Newcastle to silence Stamford Bridge.

Here’s our pick of the key stats from tonight’s and Tuesday’s matches, with the usual stab at where the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points will be heading…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    80 odd K with Hibbert/Cisse (C) bps to come.

Another green arrow, I've risen from about 300K to 80K in 5-6 gameweeks 😀

      all you people....and your gloating!!!

2 weeks ago i was 7,845 in the world, top 300 in the USA, and 3 points and massive PF clear in my mini league. now, 2 straight disasters and 'im out of the top 10K, lost my mini league lead against my jerk cousin* and mad as hell! and all this from Los Angeles where deadlines are 3am local time.

enjoy your success!!! it is fleeting!!!

*(again, 2 bps combined from demps, bale, or barfa tomorrow would really change my mood!)

Yeah 1 of my rivals is in the FFS league. I have no idea who he is on here though or if he posts.

Then there are other rivals who seem to have the generic type FFS team but aren't in any FFS leagues. I'm one of those people, I bet my rival (The ffs member) think's hes getting beat by a normal player. 😀

Plan is Dempsey/Cisse>Moses/Aguero for GW38 especially if Wigan still have something to play for.
Was going to save FT this week but have Evans, Cahill, and Simpson.
Does it make sense to bring in Walker to assure 3 defenders and take point hit next week?

Yeah it's a tough one, Fergie might just be hoping for a City slip up, but he must also know that his team are entirely capable of putting 5 or 6 goals past teams. Not very likely granted, but they can definitely do it.

Cisse > Rooney the way to go?

    Krul(MCI)
    Evans(SWA) Vermaelen(NOR) Kelly(SUN) Terry(liv)
    Dempsey(SUN) Bale(avl) Van der Vaart(avl)
    Jelavic(wol) Van Persie(NOR) Cisse(MCI)

subs - Vorm, McClean, Sigurdsson, Simpson
(1 free transfer, 5.1m in the bank)

Having no United attacking coverage is a worry and Rooney seems the obvious way to go. Could also consider McClean/Siggy > Nani/Valencia.

    What ya reckon?

I'm considering a similar move (as many on here are). My only problem is that Papa Cisse is on a Van Persie like run at the moment. Seems like he can score against anyone- who'd have predicted a Stamford Bridge brace before last night.

Going to be a tough choice.

Haha yep. Need 4 striker spots for this GW. Jellyfish has decent fixtures and along with Cisse is the form player of the league right now.

I'm seriously considering passing on Rooney and selling Siggy for Nani and doubling up on Man Utd MF (have Toni V too) to negate not having Rooney.

          Crazy?

    a) P Cisse -> Rooney (benching Siggy)
    b) Siggy -> Nani/Pienaar (benching headache)
    c) Turner -> Vermaelen (benching Skrtel)

    Kompany, JEvans, Skrtel

I consider Verm an attacking player. Normally it would be a bad idea to use a transfer on a defender at this stage of the season.

Gotta be A, especially if you are gonna give him the armband. That's what I'm doing but I'm chasing and my rival doesn't have Rooney.

Think your team looks great to be honest. a) is probably the move to block any hope that your rival has of catching you.

      c) would be a great move earlier in the season but with so little time left I dont want to 'waste' any transfers on DF

BOOM!! What a night. We beat chelsea at the bridge for the first time in a million years, stay neck and neck with spurs, dave scores as good a brace as you are ever likely to see (I am still majorly speechless about his second, one of the best goals ever? Or a fluke?), AND me and mrs china regain our place in the top 10,000 and move within 10 point of our rival! Game on! Bring on City!! Come on Villa!!

Fair play China - 2 really world class goals and you are right in there with a chance of Champions League football next season. I really hope you make it. Fancy you to get a draw at the w/e and win your final game, just not sure if that's gonna be enough. You need that North London choke to kick in again (we're both more than capable!) 🙂

I think most brilliant goals have a touch of fluke to them. Doesn't detract from the brilliance though. Top signing you've got there with Papiss. I quite like Newcastle.

Just saw the goal! Unbelievable! I think he was aiming for the near post, I can't believe he was going for the far post!

If you hit a ball the way he did you would aim for the near post and expect it to curve towards the far post. Brilliant goal

Man U will know the result of New/City before they kick off so if City do slip up, United won't go for goals and just go for the win to avoid an Everton style 4-4.

Food for thought for those of us thinking about going all out on United attacking coverage.

Fair call that but I still expect United to play hard till they at least have a 2 goal lead.

So Rooney or RVP for the armband this week? Arsenal are all done now, locked in for 3rd spot ... whilst Man United will be gunning for a big win ... i can see Roon-dog going ape!

    Thoughts?

      What's your gut telling you?

I'm thinking RVP will do the best, but I also hate captaining early playing players even though it makes little sense.

😀 I bet Moses ends up being the highest scoring player of the week now.

Yeah it's definitely a coin toss. They could both score none or bag a hattrick. Just in the time it's took me to reply I have now decided I'm gonna give Rooney the armband. I expect that decision to change many times before the deadline.

Will golden boot play a role maybe? Rooney is 2 behind, RvP would want to kill that race as well I'd imagine...

It's a tough one, but even as a Utd fan I'm very much doubting this goal glut against Swans. Dont get me wrong I know we are capable of big scores but unless Fergie does a shake up of the team AND it actually works, I just cant see us hitting big numbers against Swans. Nothing in our recent form has suggested we've turned any kind of a corner.

      So I'm currently thinking RVP

Gents, 142 pre bps with a -12pt hit. I am over the moon, but still 6pts behind in my ML!! Hoping bps will get me there but then what?
Last night I was all for shipping Ade, now I feel I need to keep him and Cisse both.. Suarez to Jela for a free trade and save RVP for last GW?

Cisse might find the City defence with everything to play for a harder task. Having said that his goal against Cech tonight was just completely unstoppable by anyone, so you never know. On paper RVP and Rooney have the better fixtures so you'd have to go with them!

I hope VDV gets the 3BP!

I'm in a head to head with a rival

He is 1 point ahead of me pre-bonus! I have VDV (C) and Cisse he has Adebayor (C)

Similar situation, hoping for the 3baps on VDV, think his early withdrawl might actually help as his threat and shots on target were high!

Sorry, Hat, I need the 3Bap to go to Ade. Nothing personal. Just greed on my part. Moving into final of FPL Open depends on me scraping a few more BP from today and yesterday. 🙂
