The double Gameweek delivers. Tottenham’s four goal haul at the Reebok sees Harry Redknapp’s men share the Fantasy spoils, while Papiss Cisse adds two “worldies” to his incredible goal tally at Newcastle to silence Stamford Bridge.

Here’s our pick of the key stats from tonight’s and Tuesday’s matches, with the usual stab at where the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points will be heading…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Ade to rvp(c)?

I thought I knew what I was going to do, but now I don't know. I really do need RVP don't I? In which case, which is best. Before last night, option A was a definite.

    A) Cisse -> RVP
    B) Rooney -> RVP
    C) Jelly -> RVP, but would need a hit and another transfer, e.g. Valencia -> Moses, or Komp -> 5.7 defender.

Any thoughts from deep in the DeadZone?

I think this is a dilemna facing us all, Jim. I'd still be tempted to do option A. SWN and NOR are leaking goals so you'd expect some return from Roo and RVP.

Yes, it'll still probably be what I do. C is not really a serious consideration. After all Jelly scored as many as Cisse this week and has Wolves next. And I don't think I could bring myself to do B. So, it's go without RVP or ditch Cisse really.

Yes, I really should still do A, but tough after last night.

Nice score btw - VDV was an excellent choice. I brought him in thanks to you bigging him up, but didn't quite have the balls to captain him.

I wish now I'd ditched Rooney instead of RVP actually. Would then have been tempted just to save the transfer. Although I guess Roo could explode against the Swans, and actually transferring him out just before that game seems mad really.

it depends whether you think rooney will outscore rvp, which i do think there is a high possibility. especially now MU will want to beat that goal difference

Kept Rooney and got rid of RVP. 5 points up at the moment.

My gamble to get in Tevez as an overall differential is not far off either. -2 to RVP though.

The gamble might come off, but I am going to stick to it.

Yeah, don't worry I'm not a happy chappy either. If I had a £ for each time I had Terry & Jelly in my team during last week I would be rich.

I honestly never considered Vdv since I had a gut feeling re Bale. Great guns to the Vdv(c). I was holding on to a ML lead and wasn't keen on a 4pt hit. As it turns out I was wrong. I could have done with another 10 or so pts.

Either of these are gambles. Even deciding to not go for RVP is a gamble at this point. So I say it comes down to your ML situations.

    Morning fellas,

Still feeling little pissed that followed my gut and chose vermaelen and bale instead of common sense and terry & vdv - that just might have cost me second place in my mini-league (and some euros too!).

There's not many decisions to be made anymore, but might still ask your opinnions anyway 🙂

    a) stick with a plan, cisse => rooney and get aguero for last gw (rooney or rvp out)
    b) cisse (or jelavic?) => aguero (saves one transfer)

    Captain
    a) RVP (brains)
    b) Rooney (gut)

    Thanks!

Alright DeadZoners. Captaincy for this week comes down to these main 3 options:

    A) RVP vs a shite Norwich team, leaking at the back.

    B) Rooney vs a weary Swans defence, with a fire in his belly after the city loss. Needs to make up serious GD.

    C) Jelly vs last place Wolves. Although they showed fight in them last week, they still conceded 4 vs Swansea, and are now up against an Everton team who cant stop scoring

Lost Shot (C): Dempsey at home to Sunderland.

    So who will it be??

What are you doing defensively? Hoping Evans or even Baines are fit again? Im in the same boat with Evans (and also Cahill) plus I have Caulker and really dont want to play him. Will probably wait out the week and see if either of them is proclaimed fit so i can take action elsewhere.

In your case Id look at Cisse->RvP and Siggurdson->Moses (those are the two I am looking at myself).

Not too worried about wigan tbh, think blackburn will scrap the 3pts in all honesty.

Its simple, if blackburn win, they are alive

If they lose, relegation is inevitable.

but wigan is the form team right now. everyone is amazed at how newcastle beat chelsea last night, but a few days ago, they just got thrashed 4-0 by wigan

you jusdt proved my point. Wigan thrashed newcastle, now blackburn will thrash wigan 😉 the epl is a weird league.

How much bps do you think I'll get between Cisse(c), Pienaar, Dempsey and VDV?

    Need 8 to reach 100 🙂

Yeah, it would save me a 4 pointer in mid (though Maloney/Moses could easily repay that).
Surely if he plays he'll be more of a threat than Roon?

probably this is the week where sir alex will all out attacking to catch that goal difference. I have a sense that he will play behind hernandez

Ony 79pts - should have taken a couple more hits perhaps to get more DGWers in. Oh well, always next year, Means I've not ony dropped out of the top 1,000 but out of the top 1,500 ..... But given my highest final postion in the last 5 years of playing was 107,045 I suppose it's still an improvement.

Think I remember a score of 189 two seasons ago, wonder will it get topped after bps. Top of my ML for the first time this year. Thought the Suarez & Torres show had derailed my hopes. I'd like to thank Mr Cisse & VanDerMan for their courageous efforts, cheers chaps. Shame I might give Cisse his P45.

How to make up 60pts in 2 weeks? Oppnt will have rooney but prob wont have Aguero/Tevez....I think RVP (C) is going to pay off huge one of these weeks...RVP has to score to keep Arsenal alive....hes gonna finish how he started and score...I dont know how im leap into 1st though....

      Massive differentials.

      Big captain choices.

Your Rvp captain be no good, you need to for someone like a Torres (c) ML caught up 40 lead this week doing that. Won't always pay off, but need to go with potential of scoring but not usual suspects i.e. Rvp, Rooney, aguero etc

if the usual suspects are people he doesnt have it would be less of a gamble...im playing against him first and then the ranks second. I think his striking force will be RVP Rooney (c) Cisse

In which case get the strongest ones for this week... Rooney and RVP, plus get someone else as differential and maybe captain him

But if you kinda now who he will captain go next strongest....
