With the bumper Gameweek 36 decided on Wednesday night, and finalised with bonus points on Thursday, we are down to just four Fantasy managers chasing glory in the Paddy Power Cup VI.

As you would expect, we had monster scores all round in the Quarter-Finals, with dannn‘s respectable 85 nowhere near the grade…

2Rickys Army106110ajay_kl
3mch10385dannn
4stumanchuu93111Optimus

It looked like all four ties would go as expected, with the highest-ranked side in each all notching centuries. However, rank outsider ajay_kl upset the apple cart and produced a brilliant 110 to eliminate Rickys Army by just four points (effectively three considering their respective overall ranks).

On to the Semis then, where only one of our final four will go home empty-handed…

  • Winner – £150 worth of free bets. £50 Amazon Voucher
  • Runner-up – £75 worth of free bets. £30 Amazon Voucher
  • 3rd Place – £50 worth of free bets. £20 Amazon Voucher

    Evening gentlemen,

I need a little advice here. Who to bring in and captain? RVP or Rooney? My rival has both.

Team for this game week as it stands.

    Cech

    Verm Terry Skrtel
    Valencia VDV Bale Pienaar
    Adebayor Jelavic Torres

    Mignolet Siggy Caulker Evans

    Thanks in advance!

:0) he'll captain Rooney as they'll be pushing for lots of goals.

    Sorenson
    Turner | Enrique | Richards
    Siggy | Bale | Valencia | Dempsey
    Cisse | RVP | Adebayor

    Vorm | HBA | Simpson | Evans

    A) Richards, Siggy OUT -> Pienaar, Verm IN (4 point hit)
    B) Adebayor, Siggy OUT -> Rooney, Pienaar IN (4 point hit)
    C) Other?

    Rvp, Cisse, Jelavic, Rooney

    leaning towards rvp, jel, roo
if i go for the above its a 4 point hit. is it worth it?

Really nervous about not having Van Persie/Rooney this week. Winning my money league by 24 points and rival has brought in Rooney and already has RVP. I have already made my transfer ( HBA ➡ Moses ) and am wondering if I should take a 4pt hit for Aguero ➡ Van Persie and captain him as my rival probably will. Please help!

      A) If city score early the floodgates open. For Newcastle a tie is no good and will end Champs league dreams. Man City also need a win. Newcastle are one of tops in conceding pks. City have many players to draw pks. Aguero takes pks. Easy choice for me, and a much better one than all the Roonpig hype Ive been hearing. Rooney is risky imo with Hernandez up front. Aguero in form and many angles to be supplied from.

Hi Guys. Am 47pts ahead in my ML to win 650. I hate the fact i dont have Rooney has my Rival has him but
It would take an 8pt hit to get him in. Do any of you think i should take a hit for any player or just stay as i am? I know my defence sucks but i cant really see any defender/goalie worth a hit apart for maybe Verm,

    Mig (vorm)
    Enrique Evans Walker (Taylor,Cahill)
    Sess Vdv Bale Demps (siggy)
    Cisse Rvp(C) Jelavic

Stick with what you've got. Possibly Cahill to Verm, just because Cahill is out, Evans is out and I can't see Taylor getting more than 1. Enrique' not 100% nailed on with the FA Cup this weekend, and Walker has a broken toe, even though 'Arry said he's fit you never know.

can you see a clean sheet in that game?

        0-0 to make both happy?

Also Reina absolutely never gets to 3 saves, while 6 is a real possiblity for Mig.

well it's not exactly pre-CL final game yet 😀

it's more "post FA cup final" one

is anyone familiar with scores in situations where teams played against each other just days apart?

I'd appreciate your thoughts, gents. I don't think this one is clear cut. I have Mignolet and Turner. Do I double up on Sunderland defense this week, or do I play Krul with Turner to spread my risk?

    Hi guys

I really need your advice on this

I'm currently chasing a 40 pt gap in my ML and I would to try to at least close the gap to a respectable amount by the end of the season i.e. 15pts

So have you got any ideas on who I can have as a differential striker instead of Cisse apart from Rooney

    Mine: Jelavic, RVP ?

    His: Jelavic, RVP, Cisse

    Bank:10m

    Any help would be appreciated

What's all this shenigan about semi finals in the H2H leagues? I'm 7 points clear....doesn't that count for owt? That's why the football league playoffs are BS. Finish 3rd with 10 points more than 6th, but 6th place might go up......there must be advantage to having gained more points throughout the season.....

The advantage of more points is that you play the lower ranked team in the playoffs
