Comparing Kane, Son and potential replacements as I plan for Spurs’ fixture swing

Fantasy Premier League managers need to start making a plan for their Tottenham Hotspur assets as their incoming fixture-swing approaches.

Leading the way with their 71 points each, Harry Kane (£11.0m) and Son Heung-min (£9.6m) have been the catalysts for success during the first seven Gameweeks but that may not be true for much longer.

Many of us will be relying on Jose Mourinho’s men yet again this weekend as they travel to face an out-of-form West Bromwich Albion side – but we cannot allow ourselves to get too attached.

From Gameweek 9 it will be a case of form versus fixtures as we see Spurs run into Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in four of the five matches between Gameweeks 10 and 13.  Even though owning both Kane and Son has been almost essential in the early weeks of the season, I definitely think it is time we seriously examine the merits of keeping the pair beyond Gameweek 8.

    A B or C pls?

    A) Pulisic and TAA out for Coufal/Creswell for -4

    B) TAA out for Coufal/Creswell

    C) Save transfer and play Dallas (if Puli is out)

I want Rashford C next week vs WBA and will need to drop TAA over next 3 to afford City assets anyways.....

    1. James (5.0m).

TAA, Ayling, Justin, Mitchell my other defenders and a WC.

These Potter shenanigans are dong my head in. Was all set on keeping Ryan as I think he gets a chance to prove himself vs Burnley. But because I went cheap and don't have a starting backup keeper I will need to adress this problem sooner or later. Maybe I should just do it sooner and get Flappyhandski as my planned transfer was getting a West Ham defender.

      Did Saiss to Cresswell myself.

Got Foden in my team, so do not need another rotational risk.

Also, do not see Wolves get many clean sheet in the coming weeks of tough fixtures.

      Bellerin looks good value.

So 2 things to worry about this weekend . Got 3 liverpool vs city . And city never concede more than 1 a game really.

And this son and Kane crises . Thinking about it these big teams they got next . Those teams are not exactly on form either .
But the only striker I’d consider would be Werner . And replace son with rashford

    1. GreennRed
      • 12 Years

Depends on the form of City opposition how many they concede. Their defenders don't strike fear into decent attackers, keeping ball their reliable method of keeping the score down.

I don't know why you should be afraid owning Kane and Son in tough matches. They can as easily be high scoring ones.

    What should I do?

    A) James R > Ziyech
    B) Saiss > Chilwell/Zouma
    C) Both for a hit
    D) Save and hope two of James, Saiss and Lamptey plays
