Bruno especially is a very good option, particularly since West Ham looked v dodgy against Villa.

Are there no other routes for you to bring in KDB? Robertson has looked great recently and I can see Son getting something against Arsenal.

      50/50.
      - Bruno has to be rested at some point, even though doesnt look like Utd have any chance of a win without him, so he may play.
      - KDB has to come good at some point in the season. a double assist and attempt hitting the post looks like a possible kickstart for him.

Jea, I was just thinking about these two points:

      - KDB was rested in CL. So he´s probably good to go against Fulham
      - Bruno played in CL + there are upcoming essential games with Leipzig and ManC. Maybe rested?

    Ryan Mcarthy
    (Targett) Taylor Chilwell Cancelo Coady
    (McGinn) KDB Bruno Son Pereira
    (Wilson) Bam Werner

    0.1m ITB
    2 FTs
    All chips and Wildcard available

I was thinking of just doing 1 transfer this GW, this bringing in 1 player as a cover for any player not getting minutes.
    A) Targett -> Dallas/Masuaku/WalkerPeters
    B) Mcginn -> Neto/Podence/Harrison
    C) Any other suggestions?

Any point in keeping Cancelo at all? Would be using a transfer selling him in the future anyway so might as well take a hit rather than field 10 men...

It's a bit crazy but I'm kinda looking at getting Reguilon instead of Dias... I think Dias could get a rest this week and a blank next week while Reguilon gets 2 CS, after that I can bench Reguilon for Liverpool because Lamptey,Coufal and Chilwell have amazing fixtures. Also not the worst idea to play Spurs defenders in hard fixtures as Mourinho could do his thing and by GW16 the fixtures swing back in their favour anyway.

Dias is probably the better option but Reguilon seems to suit my team(I have Chilwell,Mendy and ZIyech so can't get James either)

With december rotation in mind, he could be an option to see for 1-2 GWs if you have other pressing issues with your squad.

I just saw Laterisers post on twitter saying we should start our Villa and Newcastle players in case PL rearange the game for midweek, after the deadline.

Surely if that happens FPL would make it DGW 12 rather than putting it in GW 11 since we had the information they wouldn’t play that GW?

If you aren't selling them, then it can't hurt to leave them in. It's not like they are going to come in for a cameo anyway.

I know just don’t think it matters at all.

People are selling the likes of Grealish, Martinez and others, it wouldn’t be fair. (I have just Targett who I’m benching so don’t get me wrong)

        Cheers for the reply!

        I would say zero chance.

They will want to bounce back from PSG and keep this away run going.

Also Ole is only ever one loss away from pressure. He can't rest his best player.

I think there is a slight chance because if United loses against Leipzig, it might mean Ole getting sacked.

But it is very unlikely and therefore not significant enough to impact your FPL decisions in my opinion.

In a bit of limbo with Sterling.
        What are fellow owners planning?
He could start and haul big. Or I can do the following:

        A) Sterling to Salah and Grealish to Mahrez for a -4.

B). Watkins to Jesus, Cancelo to Alioski, Martinez to McCarthy for -8.

        Current team
        2.0m itb.

        Martinez
        Justin - Cancelo - James - Neco - PVA
        Grealish - Jota - Bruno - KDB - Sterling
        DCL - Brewster - Watkins

Should have ended isolation last Saturday according to Roy (unless he had a further positive test, but even then he would have had a good few days more to get a negative and then train)

Original plan was to save FT, then in GW12 do Rodriguez, Martial, DCL -> Salah, Bamford, Wilson (-4).Team below (£1.0m ITB):

        McCarthy
        Chillwell, Robbo, Coufal, Ayling
        Kdb, Bruno, Rodriguez, Jota
        Martial, DCL

        (Steer, Grealish, Davis, Ferguson)

If we assume Villa Newcastle is postponed to future gameweek, can I get away with sticking to the plan? Would mean zero bench and playing both Coufal & Ayling in bad fixtures (was having to play 1 before postponment). I could also remove Martial but the replacements I want are poor options this week (Bamford vs CHE, Wilson blank), so I think I can hold him another week.

Whom would you prefer for the next few weeks. Replacement for Mitchell.

        Walker
        James
        Bednerek

Is walker too much of a luxury compared to the other two.

        Bednerek the most nailed

~FPL move the GW deadline out to Saturday morning.
~There is still a chance we get news of a rearrangement (perhaps even for midweek) before Saturday morning.

Think there would be quite the backlash now they have marked Villa and Toon players as having no fixture and people have started removing them.

But then again it happened with that City West Ham fixture in February which was postponed due to Storm Ciara and just played a few days later in the same GW.

They cared enough to give everyone free transfers after lockdown despite the game having been open and 8 FTs being available to those that slow-WCed

True but I just mean the PL won't care. FPL might but not sure what they could do, the other situation was massively different especially as you had players at that point due to miss the season back for the end and a huge gap between matches

I’m just thinking out loud but if the Villa Newcastle game were to be played next week in midweek but it wasn’t announced until after the GW11 deadline and people had acted on their blank players I think they would be more likely to put the newly arranged Villa Newcastle fixture in a DGW12 than retrospectively add it back into GW11.

Yeah I think that makes sense, I don't know if FPL have rules regarding when a gameweek can start (if it has to be Friday/Saturday barring last day of the season) but that makes most sense, but I don't think we'll see the fixture next week, if the whole Newcastle squad started isolating on Monday then they can't return to training until Wednesday/Thursday next week at earliest, I'd say maybe midweek the week but I'm not sure, all just guesswork right now

Help greatly appreciated chaps, what would you do with this Team? 1 FT and 3.1 ITB.

        Martinez*
        Chilwell, Zouma, Justin
        KDB, Son, Fernandes, Jota
        Vardy, DCL, Bamford

        (Steer, Bissouma, Mitchell, Kilman)

I was all set on Justin -> Dias as really want that 2nd City player for their fixtures! Next GW I plan to do Vardy & Bissouma -> Salah(C) & Brewster.

        Cheers

I'd probably be against getting in a Man City defender unless it was Walker. Pep has his whole squad of defenders to choose from so likely to be roulette all over the team. In your situation I'd roll the transfer, I think you're fine this week.

Thanks. Walker rules me out of next GW transfers so looks like rolling the FT is the most sensible (but boring!) Option.

Was also considering Martinez->Mendy or Justin -> James Chelsea triple up which would almost certainly end in disaster.

Would not be getting rid of Bamford. There are a list of players that I just have 0 interest in removing that I'm seeing talked about.

Werner, Fernandes, Bamford, Vardy I've all seen as possible removes. I would not get rid of any of those.

        Guaita
        James - Lamptey - Chilwell
        Sterling - Salah - KDB - Grealish
        Bamford - DCL - Watkins

        Forster - Targett - Burke - Mitchell

        £0.2MITB 1FT

        A) Sterling > Mahrez & Watkins > Jesus for a hit
        B) Watkins > Brewster & Burke > Rafinha for a hit, play Brewster this week then from next week setup as 3-5-2 as Leeds fixtures look very good
        C) Other

        Thanks!

I'm looking for a downgrade for Foden, but they would need to play most weeks.

        a) Walcott
        b) Ward-Proswe
        c) Neto
        d) Soucek (and largely shift to 4-3-3)

        None seems ideal, admittedly.

In terms of the best options for your XI, it's between B & C. Both would need to just sit in your team every week as returns are near-impossible to predict.
