As many of you may already have noticed, our coverage for next month’s Euro 2012 tournament in Poland and Ukraine will also take in the Fantasy League Pro auction game. Yesterday saw us appeal for managers to fill the three Fantasy Football Scout leagues and, with only eight managers per league, the places quickly filled up. Here’s who made the cut:

FFScout League 1

Chairman: Mark.
Other participants: Boomslang, GiggingOrder, Eoindamann, Gummo88, Bozovac, Zunker, Rabsi1.

FFScout League 2

Chairman: Sir Paulos
Other participants: Shinoda, TommyJ, Gurka, Ginkapo, SuperDunny, Saram_, Mch.

FFScout League 3

Chairman: Andy
The Giggs Boson, Reshardo, The_sting, Michelin, Pulma. Drew006, Ralphypne.

The auction-based game seems to have caught the interest of many on the boards and with the game free-to-play, we intend to offer plenty coverage over the course of the tournament.

While we will obviously analyse the official Scout leagues and report on events as they unfold, we’d also like you to get involved.

For those looking to take part in the Fantasy League game, the following community leagues are currently looking for managers…

NoMunNoFun FFS
Sign-up Code: 43798

FFS Rogues
Sign-up Code: 43728

FFS-ronaldofreaks
Sign-up Code: 43716

Register for the game at www.fantasyleague.com and then click on Find League and enter the league code of your choice. The Chairman will then receive your application and let you know if you made the cut.

If you’ve set up a league and are looking for more managers or if you’ve already got a full quota and would like us to cover your league as part of our Euro 2012 write-up, give us a shout with the relevant details at euro@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk and we’ll be sure to include you in our subsequent articles.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Does doubling up on Holland seem like a good idea for GW1?
In my case, Robben and Sneijder
    Which means...Ribery-->Sneijder
Ribery is currently in my team..

I like it. Double Greek and Russian is a risk, but one you might be wise to take.

Personally, prefer double Italian over double Russian. Same price and probably better long-term.

Mmm he is the most likely starter...

Although to play with him, they'll probably need to alter their playing style a little which means wingers rather than the tiki taka midfield passing. Maybe Cazorla or Navas could be benefactors.

Still think they'll be like world cup Spain though which means 1-0 masters.

            Can see them playing:

Busquets, Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta and Cazorla

            with Llorente up front.

They need some direct running and a man out wide. Silva and Mata aren't going to be able to do that.

On the other hand I don't think Soldado or Torres fit great in a tiki taka style. They are not great alternatives in that sense.

I can't imagine Silva in the bench to be honest.

Reported toe injury + fatigue means he'll either come off the bench or play 60 minutes per game.

Can totally see him being left out.

I'm pretty confident llorente will start. His form this season was just outstanding and he played in 4 of the 8 qualifiers (while villa was still around). Soldado had a great season too but his 45 minutes against Venezuela in their last friendly, were the first he had in the national team since 2007. And Torres' form... well I guess I don't have to go there. (he was a doubt till the last second, and he is not yet safe from the last cut)

The problem I see with almost any spanish offensive player is that considering the absurd depth of the squad, almost anyone is subject to substitution after 60 minutes of bad form.

So in the football world today.

    1) Juventus are reportedly interested in Van Persie, Suarez and Torres.

I liked him as 2nd keeper too, but as others said, not many €4m defs in this game that are nailed on starters. Olsson twins fit that bill. (Not Mary Jane and Kate!)

And we all need a couple of cheapies in def.

      Expensive defense.

I'd go cheaper Greek, cheaper Russian, and lose Neuer. If Sczczesny keeps a clean sheet, Neuer will be 7.0 wasted on your bench.

Kuyt and Keane is a bit too much of a risk for me. Prefer at least 2 heavyweight forwards and then take a punt on either.

      Gusev who?

Gusev? He takes pens for the Ukraine, apparently.

Yes Neuer is expensive, I just wanted to go in with the strongest keeper combo I could get.

As for strikers, most of the expensive ones seem threatened with rotation. I'll look at them again after matchday 1.

Could be good if he takes penalties, but the form and talent of Yarmolenko for 7.0 is too good to ignore for me.

          Plenty of nailed on strikers.

Dutch tend to play lone striker so looks like it will be either The Hunter or RVP. Only Van Marwyk knows which right now.

Both are £11m I think thats too much to pay. If you're spending that kind of money then at least Ronaldo is nailed on.

      I like it. Nice team.

Never really been on the Shirokov bandwagon though. Think 6.0 for a midfielder is too much. Also think Russian players are all overpriced.

6.0 for a defender? I'd buy Italian everyday.

Like the Hunter in there. Think you've got a good call on that one.

Not too fond of Dzagoev or M'Vila.

Russia are a bit defensive, and M'Vila is a DM. Better getting Andrews and upgrading M'Vila imho.

Just started a fantasy football blog, hoping to keep it going next season (and will probably update it for the Euros as well). Just written one proper article so far which I posted on here a few days ago... and it's probably not written that well but thought I'd share it. Please let me know what you think/what you'd add or change to it.

Don't know exactly what sort of content or articles I'll be writing yet, but hopefully it'll take shape as the season gets going! thanks

Been my primary starting source for Euro 2012 information. Really comprehensive.

The Greek defense is a bit of a toss-up at the moment though.

Keepers: Sifakis/Tzorvas/Chalkias. No way of knowing who. Best hope is the friendlies.
    RB: Torossidis guaranteed
CB: Papastathopoulos + either A. Papa or K. Papa. Looks like the form of K. Papa for Schalke could edge him that spot.
LB: Holebas. Spyropoulos his immediate competition just got dropped from the squad. Big differential pick.

It's a doozy, but right at this moment, I think it'll be:
Sifakis, Torossidis, K. Papa, Papastat, Holebas

Thanks Camzy, that helps clear things up. Doos certainly seems to think K. Pap has earned his place now.

If this is borne out I'll no doubt downgrade Torissidis to K Pap myself.

Yeah K. Papa looks like the pick of the Greek defense.

I'm thinking Centre Backs are more valuable than Full Backs because of the recovered balls points, and by the sound of things, K. Papa has more attacking threat too.

You need 5 teams to "go to auction". At this point you can add teams to league, but not delete any teams (no matter what apparently). Once you "go to auction" you can click on your team name and place bids for round 1. As a commissioner, you can't change any of the league settings till after you go to auction, and can't remove teams afterwards, so you have to make sure you get things ready in the right order.

4 of the 6 divisions have gone to auction with the first deadline set for the 1st. One division is full but there is a pending request with the admins of the site to move a player. The final division should be full tomorrow. I don't think I really want to add a 7th one :p
