All eyes on well-owned Kane and Son in final fixture of Gameweek 15

The final match of Gameweek 15 sees Wolverhampton Wanderers entertain Tottenham Hotspur at Molineux.

Kick-off in the Black Country is at 19:15 GMT.

Those Fantasy Premier League managers who handed the armband to Son Heung-min (£9.7m) or Harry Kane (£11.0m) in Gameweek 15 will be hoping their nominated captains can take advantage of Mohamed Salah‘s (£12.6m) unexpected blank earlier today and gain ground in the overall rankings.

Kane and Son were the second and third most-captained players of the current Gameweek.

Among the top 10,000 FPL managers, there were fewer takers:

Both players feature today, maintaining their 100% ever-present starter status in the Premier League this season.

There are four changes for Spurs from their previous top-flight fixture.

Matt Doherty (£5.7m), Davinson Sanchez (£5.3m), Harry Winks (£5.2m) and Ben Davies (£4.6m) are all handed recalls.

Serge Aurier (£5.2m), Moussa Sissoko (£4.8m) and Toby Alderweireld (£5.4m) are benched, while Giovani Lo Celso (£6.9m) is injured.

Adama Traore (£6.1m) returns to the Wolves starting XI as boss Nuno Espirito Santo makes three changes from the side that lost to Burnley last time out.

Fabio Silva (£5.2m) and Fernando Marcal (£4.8m) are also recalled.

Budget defender Max Kilman (£4.2m) is benched, along with Rayan Ait-Nouri (£5.0m) and Owen Otasowie (£4.5m).

Willy Boly (£5.4m) and Gareth Bale (£9.3m) aren’t involved in their respective clubs’ squads.

Kane and Son are the only two players on show tonight who have an effective ownership in excess of 10% in the top 10,000:

Wolves XI: Patricio, Marcal, Saiss, Coady, Semedo, Moutinho, Neves, Traore, Podence, Neto, Silva.

Spurs XI: Lloris, Doherty, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Winks, Ndombele, Son, Kane.

I'm considering a punt on Auba. I think I've tinkered enough with my WC draft today.

Arsenal are still fighting relegation. He'll still play on the left wing.

Watkins looking like a good pick 2 games behind everyone else, but still up there on good points been very unlucky but still averaging well. Against the better teams he's getting more space.
He's the one to get in now

If free hitting in 18 can you still use a free transfer or will the team reset to what it was post gw17 deadline? E.g. I might want to do DCL to Vardy, if I do that in 18 and then free hit will it be DCL in my team for 19? Thanks

How do you gain/cover up ground this season?

Popular captain like Salah this week doesn't work.
Differential captain like Kane last gw kills u if it fails.
Going Pool defence over a city defender has backfired.

Would really like to know your opinion on how to cover up points this season

Can't cover points and you're think in too short a timeframe - it's all about research & planning. The more work you put in; the more tools you use; the better your BI; the better the result over multiple gws. The same as any venture - good graft over time = good result. bol! 🙂

    Is this worth a -4?:
    KDB to Son
I'm tempted but I'll want KDB back after DGW19

I've considered the same move and have decided against it even for free. KDB's stats are still there and he could easily haul, his own and other's poor finishing is what has let him down. That could easily change, I'd be more worried if the chances weren't coming. Fulham are much improved too, only conceded 2 in last 4. Leeds game is tasty for Spurs attack though,

Can somebody please explain why Son is not in the scout picks. Finding it hard to fathom. Second highest scorer in the game with a home game against relegation fodder.

Have you watched Spurs and Fulham recently? Therein lies your answer. Do yourself some extra research and look at their stats in recent weeks:

Spurs xG: second worst in the league, behind only West Brom over their last 4

Fulham: 5th best xGc over their last 4

Makes sense doesn’t it? Kane shouldn’t be there either

Exactly. If they are basing the scout picks on those xG stats alone then why is Kane there who is more expensive and has less points than Son? Makes no sense. Spurs are heavy odds on favourites to beat Fulham.

I think the bigger question re Spurs is if Jose is going to let the handbrake off and take more chances. They are dropping points trying to hold on to one goal leads rather than trying to put games to bed. But can Jose change his spots?
