Worth taking a hit to do Vardy to Ings?

Antonio or Kane (if you have funds) are better choices IMO

I have Kane and Bamford already so I will bring in Cavani. Antonio and Watkins were the other two I was strongly considering.

    Pick 2 to start:

    A) Grealish
    B) Bamford
    C) Gundogan
    D) Dallas

    Cheers!

A & C - but that's just crazy to bench Bamford. You need to sort out your team structure ASAP.

      A and B

Gundo hype is huge but he isn’t going to keep the current goal rate up (would score 25+ goals in a full season if he did) and has max one return per game so far.

    Big problem on the bench!!!

    Martinez (4.0m)

    Dias Cancelo Maguire Dallas (Zouma)

Salah Bruno Grealish Gundogan (El Ghazi)

    Antonio Bamford (Welbeck)

    A. El Ghazi to Son for -4

    B. Welbeck to Kane for -4

    C. Another transfer with -4?

    D. Doing nothing and hope all XI play

In 6 of the last 8 GWs defenders have been top scorers.
Holgate, Hause, Mee, Tierney, Keane and Stones (other two are midfielders Maddison and McTominay).

Does this mean that frequent deadlines are better for defenders than attackers?
We know that attackers get tired more.
Is 4 or 5 at the back a better option for the coming weeks?

depends who your midfield are and if you're willing to bench a big attacking player. If you can stomach the potential missed returns for a CS and maybe a bonus point or two, then go for it!

My current WC team has exactly this in mind, and I still like the rest of my team:

      Martinez - (Forster)
      Stones - Dias - Chilwell - AWB - Shaw
Sterling - Bruno - Son - (El Ghazi - Smith Rowe)
      Kane - Maupay - Antonio

0.5itb. Still might make changes. Not sure if I want DCL back. Sterling to be upgraded to Salah or KDB at some point.

It's really just for the Fulham match. He's bench fodder thereafter and will be upgrade at some point. I like a little gamble

I'm sorry, but this looks like a pre-WC team

El Ghazi has been replaced by Barkley. Maupay rotates every GW. Smith-Rowe is at risk from Arsenal's new buy. Chelsea has conceded the most big chances by any team in the last 4 matches. Shaw has Telles breathing down his neck

There's too much happening here. Enough to need a wildcard to fix this GW or soon

You make a good point - defenders are less likely to be rotated, but still get injured & covid
If you have a look at value & form, defenders are way better than attackers with only Kane worth the funds.
Recently miss have not been returning heavily.
I would still captain them though as they have a higher ceiling
Like most, after BB I have 5 good defenders so will consider playing all 5

I feel like Gundo is a trap but at this price you can’t go wrong really. I also think Rashford is going to go on a purple patch:

        1) Rashford
        2) Grealish
        3) Son

        1. Shark Team
          • 6 Years
          3 years, 3 months ago

Forgot Son cause he is such an obvious pick, he should be no.1
Rashford can come good but ManUtd changed their philosophy, they just playing for the 3pts lately so there is a reduction in goals

          1. Paqueta Rice
            • 3 Years
            3 years, 3 months ago

I’m not so sure Shark. From what I’ve seen Rashford looked wrecked lately but was still getting really good opportunities most games and fluffing them. After his rest now and his benching, I see him coming back into the XI for Greenwood and doing well. If united somehow manage to beat Liverpool today, their confidence will be very high and decent enough fixtures to boot.

That’s tough. Considering Adams and Holding are both owned by less than 5% and Soucek almost 20%, the safe one to play would be Soucek. I’m still always inclined to play the striker in these scenarios.

    Kdb to

A Salah ( tough fixture but maybe the most obvious choice )

You have to change mind set & go with players no one has or gamble on certain teams slipping & target others.
Wild Rover got 165 this week gambling on no Pool for instance.
I pulled back a similar gap last year had some bumps along the way, but one highlight was C Sterling when he got his 4 goals at the time hardly anyone had him, Vardy from the beginning helped as well.

WBA did well in the reverse fixture so they'll be sitting deep and frustrating City. Can just see a slim 1-0 City win at most. However, Son on the other hand could do well on counter against Liverpool desperate for points.

Son is still the better pick I think, however, it can wait a week. I am considering something along the lines of KDB to Gundo, followed by Soucek to Son. Not sure if you've got Soucek?
