Using FFS data and tools to find the best De Bruyne replacement for Gameweek 20

Just when Fantasy Premier League managers thought they could breathe and relax after Double Gameweek 19, many of us now have injury problems to solve.

Ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, Kevin De Bruyne (£11.9m) has been ruled out for “four to six weeks” with a muscular injury and needs replacing.

When these sorts of developments occur, there is a fantastic opportunity for Fantasy managers. With everyone going in a different direction from a common player all at once, the potential for green arrows goes up – if you can make the right choice. And, because Gameweeks 20 to 23 take place in a span of 14 days, the FPL landscape is going to change very quickly.

Accordingly, I have gone over some De Bruyne replacements to help you make the right choice ahead of Gameweek 20. As this uses extensive data from the Fantasy Football Scout Premium Members Area, only those with a valid subscription can access it in full.

          Yeah I love Carlo - think his team in 09/10 is my favourite Chelsea team with all those huge home wins.

          Emotion aside attached to Frank I couldn’t see a tactical plan he was trying to implement so I suspect Tuchel should do well but we’ll be in this same situation in a couple of years.

            Rudderless ship springs to mind. Against Leicester there appeared to be no tactical direction whatsoever . With that group of players Chelsea should be top 4 at worst. Lampard made them look like a mid table side.

        Definitely Mitchell - he's the cheapest, and least attacking, so least annoying if you bench his points. Arguably same with ESR value-wise.
        Soucek has looked a bit off the boil with Antonio in the team, but Palace concede from set pieces and he's got me so many points I'm playing him ahead of Dallas.
        Think I'd bench CDE.

        Yeh, I thought I was dead on the first day of Round 2 when my oppo had Cresswell on TC but i somehow came though. It doesn't affect my strategy in anyway and I don't check the oppo line up before the game, but it's always nice to win a game.
