The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on Gameweek 24 Premier League action

Sponsored by bet365

We are again turning to the odds provided by our official sportsbook partner, bet365, to wager a bet on the forthcoming Premier League action.

As ever, we urge you to gamble responsibly and always remember: when the fun stops, stop.

The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the weekend’s Premier League action 2

GAMEWEEK 24 MATCH ODDS

PRODIGAL BRENDAN

The first match of Double Gameweek 24 sees Brendan Rodgers face-off against his old side, Liverpool.

Rodgers has lost every game to Liverpool since returning to the Premier League with Leicester, with an aggregate score of 9-1 over three games.

But with Liverpool smarting after being beaten 4-1 by Manchester City at Anfield, this could be the perfect time for Rodgers to break his Liverpool curse.

All eyes will be on Saturday’s lunch time kick off, with bet365 offering up some interesting odds for both sets of supporters.

Despite Liverpool’s troubles on the pitch, Leicester are priced at 5/2 to win the game.

And if you fancy Foxes frontman Jamie Vardy to add to the seven goals he has scored against Liverpool, then he is 4/1 to open the scoring.

2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer

Get your single bets paid out if the team you back goes 2 goals ahead – for multiple bets the selection will be marked as a winner.

Applies to pre-match bets on the standard Full Time Result market for selected competitions. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

WILSOOOOOOOOON

Newcastle fans have been left in tears at the news their prolific frontman Callum Wilson will be out for eight weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Wilson has been directly involved in 15 of Newcastle’s 25 goals this season, with Magpies struggling without him.

Newcastle visit a Chelsea side rejuvenated by new manager Thomas Tuchel.

Since Tuchel’s arrival, Chelsea have only conceded one goal in four league games, and that was an own goal.

With Newcastle missing their main source of goals, bet365 will give you odds of 4/5 for Chelsea to keep a clean sheet on Monday night.

Should Newcastle manage to keep Chelsea at bay as well, then bet365’s Money Back Offer will get you your money back if the game does result in a stalemate.

For any Toon fans feeling like an outside punt, new signing Joe Willock is 17/2 to add to his debut goal against Chelsea, and 25/1 to score the first goal.

Bore Draw Money Back

Refund for any Soccer game that finishes 0-0 at bet365.

Applies to losing pre-match bets on any Correct Score, Half-Time/Full-Time or Scorecast markets. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

FEEL THE BURN

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers have been buying in Burnley assets ahead of Double Gameweek 24.

The Clarets face an enticing double of Crystal Palace followed by Fulham.

Fresh off being comfortably dispatched by Leeds, Palace go into the Burnley game without key player Wilfried Zaha.

Without him, the Eagles haven’t scored a single goal in the Premier League this season.

So it is surprising to see Burnley as second favourites at 23/10.

FPL managers with supreme confidence in their Burnley assets may even be tempted by them to win both Gameweek 24 matches, with odds of 7/1.

    Captain Sterling or Pope?

Whichever I chose could either be 4 points over the 2 games, or if hugely jammy 20+

Currently on Sterling but he's let me down many a time!

Sterling is great choice if you don’t have Gundo

Sterling is always likely to get a big haul but I couldn't do it with rotation, he could easily sit out one match and play 60 mins another especially with Aguero now back in the fold

Cant see Sterling sit out vs Spurs and Everton, think he start both and rest in easier DGWs 26/27

Sterling - great form and handy differential. Would be more worried about rotation with easier fixtures

Who would you cap if you owned sterling + gundo?

I’m thinking of making the swap from sterling to gundo just because he’s more nailed and if they keep 2 CS, 60 mins in both is still a 6 pointer or an extra 2(4) if no CS where as sterling could be benched for 1 game entirely

Sterling if I had both. Whats the point in not captaining him if you hold both.

I understood that from the initial question mate.

Surly you retained Sterling going into this DGW to maximise his points. If I had both Id go Sterling captain, he is starting to show form and when he does Pep loves him. Even 120-160 mins over the 2 fixtures I think he does better than Gundo.

          Good luck.

Was literally going to ask the same thing.

He could have doubles for the next 5 gws. And that is simply just playing on my mind. If I sell him for say, Kane, he is a transfer, to back in, waiting to happen. I have all my chips still but I actually don’t want to use my wc if I can get away with it in 25 for bb 26. I have 2ft’s this week and a couple of hits

    Thoughts on a BB here:
Martinez (bri) Coufal (SHU) Maguire (wba.) Son (mci)

    Starting team is:
    Pope
    Cancelo/Stones/Tarkowski
    Soucek/Salah/Gundogan/Fernandes
    Bamford/Ings/Antonio

If not bench boost, any thoughts on who to bench/play? I'm thinking of dropping Soucek for Son potentially.
