The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on Gameweek 24 Premier League action

Sponsored by bet365

We are again turning to the odds provided by our official sportsbook partner, bet365, to wager a bet on the forthcoming Premier League action.

As ever, we urge you to gamble responsibly and always remember: when the fun stops, stop.

The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the weekend’s Premier League action 2

GAMEWEEK 24 MATCH ODDS

PRODIGAL BRENDAN

The first match of Double Gameweek 24 sees Brendan Rodgers face-off against his old side, Liverpool.

Rodgers has lost every game to Liverpool since returning to the Premier League with Leicester, with an aggregate score of 9-1 over three games.

But with Liverpool smarting after being beaten 4-1 by Manchester City at Anfield, this could be the perfect time for Rodgers to break his Liverpool curse.

All eyes will be on Saturday’s lunch time kick off, with bet365 offering up some interesting odds for both sets of supporters.

Despite Liverpool’s troubles on the pitch, Leicester are priced at 5/2 to win the game.

And if you fancy Foxes frontman Jamie Vardy to add to the seven goals he has scored against Liverpool, then he is 4/1 to open the scoring.

2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer

Get your single bets paid out if the team you back goes 2 goals ahead – for multiple bets the selection will be marked as a winner.

Applies to pre-match bets on the standard Full Time Result market for selected competitions. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

WILSOOOOOOOOON

Newcastle fans have been left in tears at the news their prolific frontman Callum Wilson will be out for eight weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Wilson has been directly involved in 15 of Newcastle’s 25 goals this season, with Magpies struggling without him.

Newcastle visit a Chelsea side rejuvenated by new manager Thomas Tuchel.

Since Tuchel’s arrival, Chelsea have only conceded one goal in four league games, and that was an own goal.

With Newcastle missing their main source of goals, bet365 will give you odds of 4/5 for Chelsea to keep a clean sheet on Monday night.

Should Newcastle manage to keep Chelsea at bay as well, then bet365’s Money Back Offer will get you your money back if the game does result in a stalemate.

For any Toon fans feeling like an outside punt, new signing Joe Willock is 17/2 to add to his debut goal against Chelsea, and 25/1 to score the first goal.

Bore Draw Money Back

Refund for any Soccer game that finishes 0-0 at bet365.

Applies to losing pre-match bets on any Correct Score, Half-Time/Full-Time or Scorecast markets. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

FEEL THE BURN

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers have been buying in Burnley assets ahead of Double Gameweek 24.

The Clarets face an enticing double of Crystal Palace followed by Fulham.

Fresh off being comfortably dispatched by Leeds, Palace go into the Burnley game without key player Wilfried Zaha.

Without him, the Eagles haven’t scored a single goal in the Premier League this season.

So it is surprising to see Burnley as second favourites at 23/10.

FPL managers with supreme confidence in their Burnley assets may even be tempted by them to win both Gameweek 24 matches, with odds of 7/1.

    Martinez - Pope
    Dias - Cancelo - Coufal - Dallas - Kilman
    Salah - Son - Bruno - Gundo - Soucek
    Cavani - Bamford - Antonio

I’ll be coming into next GW with this team, 2 FTs and 3.5 mln in the bank.
    I have WC and BB.

    Would you:
    A) WC prior DGW25 and BB in DGW26?
    B) WC prior DGW26
    C) WC later
    ...?

    On WC:

    A) Kane now and save a transfer down the line
    B) Richarlison now and do Rich>Kane before DGW26

    In other words:
Is Richarlison's double this week worth sacrificing a transfer? FUL have improved defensively. His stats are shocking. I don't expect much from him vs city... Am I wrong?

Kane now... No DGW forward worth it to justify not including Kane as one of your WC forwards...

Thanks. Well Kane and Son will be i my team by GW 26 for sure. The question is whether picking Rich or even Ings for 24/25 is better than Kane

Should I just go Justin ->Dallas now instead of waiting till next round?

    Pope
    Coufal - shaw - Dias
    Foden - gundo (C) - Salah - fernandes - grealish
    Bamford - Antonio

    (4m / Robertson - DCL - Justin)

I understand your concern. Normally as Justin is out for a long time I would transfer him out. But you already have starting XI and waiting for last moment to do transfer is more important right now with injuries flying around.

    Martinez
    Stones Cancelo Digne Coufal
    Son Salah Bruno Gundo
    Antonio Bamford

    Steer Mitchell Bissouma DCL
    2ft 5m itb

Which of these would you do?
    1) Antonio to Cavani for 1 week punt (will be getting Kane later for this spot)
    2) Mitchell to Lowton and bench Coufal
    3) both
    4) any other suggestions

    1. Jo Melon
      • 3 Years

You already have starting XI. With 2 FT maybe Mitchell to Dallas or Bissouma to Raphinha will set you up nicely for next week.

Could ditch Coufal next week for Dallas. Mitchell to Dallas now means out of budget for Antonio to Kane next gw.

I guess thinking about switching to 2 city attackers given recent goal scoring exploits and playing against teams struggling defensively.

May hold Cancelo though as would have big regrets if he returned.

I just figured out that nailing an XI should be better than a BBGW26.

        Martinez
        Cancelo Stones x
        Salah Bruno Son Gundogan Grealish
        Kane x

Who on earth do you have on the bench that gets decent points?

I think so. It means you can then wildcard to a strong XI and clean up the bench ahead of 26 (& 29 to a lesser extent in mind)

I will BB the following this week:

            Pope
            (C)ancelo Stones Lowton Digne
            Salah Son Bruno G(v)ndogan
