FPL Double Gameweek 32 announced as Spurs face Everton and Southampton

The Premier League have revealed their latest schedule, turning what looked to be a bumper blank Gameweek 32 into something a bit closer to normal.

Among the more exciting developments however, Tottenham Hotspur now face a Double Gameweek, travelling to Goodison Park to take on Everton, before playing Southampton at home.

Double Gameweek 25 teams: Southampton – best FPL players, form, fixtures and stats

Southampton will have their match with Crystal Palace rescheduled for later in the season, giving them a likely Double Gameweek. Crystal Palace are therefore the only team to now have a blank in Gameweek 32.

We are also still waiting for news on when the Everton v Aston Villa game will be rescheduled.

The likes of Harry Kane (£11.6m) and Son Heung-min (£9.4m) are now surely going to see substantial interest. Both of these players saw season-high scores in their 5-2 win v Southampton back in Gameweek 2.

Kane registered 21 points with four assists and goal, while Son found the back of the net on four occasions on his way to a 24-point haul in the same fixture.

Owners of Gareth Bale (£9.7m) may also be more inclined to hold, despite him missing out against Aston Villa in Gameweek 29 prior to the international break.

In defence, Hugo Lloris (£5.6m) and Sergio Reguilon (£5.5m) may also be shrewd acquisitions, particularly for anyone considering a Gameweek 30 or Gameweek 31 Wildcard. Reguilon has registered 17 attempts on goal so far this season, the fifth most across the Spurs side and more than teammates like Lucas Moura (£6.6m). He is also top for successful crosses from open play with ten across the Spurs side over the course of the season.

However, it is worth noting that Spurs do face a blank in Gameweek 33 as a result of the League Cup final against Manchester City.

Ensuring that you have a plan for your Lilywhites assets will be crucial to help you navigate the next couple of Gameweeks successfully.

Gameweek 32 fixtures:
Everton v Spurs
Newcastle v West Ham
Wolves v Sheffield United
Arsenal v Fulham
Man United v Burnley
Leeds v Liverpool
Chelsea v Brighton
Spurs v Southampton
Aston Villa v Manchester City
Leicester v West Brom

Does this make much difference for a gw31 wildcard?

Can have just kane on the wildcard - and bring in son for 32

Not sure there is a 3rd spurs player that jumps out is there? Thanks

Still thinking WC 31. But means I’ll have to be either 3 Spurs + 1 City or 2 plus 2.

With WC and BB to play, is the best strategy to navigate through 32 and 33 and WC in 34? Probable DGW in 35 which would be good for bench boosting?

    Thanks

Palace, Southampton, Villa and Everton (could be in 37 also but more likely to be in 35 if all teams are supposed to have a home game before end of season)

    Martinez
    Dias - Dallas - Shaw
    Bruno - Bale - Son - Lingard
    Kane - Bamford - Antonio

    (Pope) (Raphinha - Stones - Dunk) 1 FT - 2.4 ITB

Any thoughts on what to do here? Need to burn the FT because I'm probably WC'ing GW31, will have to play it safe to maintain the top 6-ish k rank.

    A) Dunk -> Azpi
    B) Pope -> Mendy
    C) Any other suggestions?

So Spurs are the only team to have 2 games in dgw32?

Very interesting with double City, double Liverpool mids and no Bruno. What's your thinking there? Good enough bench to cover City rotation?

      1. Flynny
        • 9 Years
        2 years, 12 months ago

        I'm avoiding kdb

Expect him to be huge rotation risk in 31

      2. Flair
        • 3 Years
        2 years, 12 months ago

KDB faces Leeds (H) and is the standout captain candidate in 31 (or Mahrez if he doesn't look like starting). After that I can move him to Bruno in 32 who has Burnley and Leeds back to back.

Yes, the bench is excellent and can cope if rotation occurs. I think Gundo is still great value though Lingard/Raphinha could come in anytime after the BGW for their fixture runs.

        1. Tonyawesome69
          • 5 Years

I quite like that idea. Definitely leave it as a last minute decision to bring in KDB on WC31. If City wrap up the UCL 1st leg, I can see KDB playing Leeds and rested for 2nd leg.

          1. Flair
            • 3 Years
            2 years, 12 months ago

I think KDB will play both legs no matter what and may be rested for the Leeds game - so if that's a concern Sterling/Mahrez can be the captain punts instead though not quite as good assets.

              • 14 Years

If KDB plays that’s a great call

But if he starts tonight he’ll have played 3x games for Belgium, followed by Leicester & Dortmund in 14 days from the 24th March to the 7th April...

Leeds is on the 10th April, then Dortmund again on the 14th, followed by FA Cup Semi win Chelsea on the 17th, then Villa 21st, the LC Final on the 25th...

Man City’s schedule is just bonkers - but if you have him you probably have to go for that for the Leeds game as if he does start he could get a treble or quadruple return easily enough

              1. Flair
                • 3 Years
                2 years, 12 months ago

Yeah, that's why I'm saying I can cap Mahrez/Sterling instead especially if one of those two is benched for Leicester or Dortmund - much safer and still decent upside, probably higher with Mahrez at this point.

    How is this plan?

    Team:
    Martinez (Forster)
    Dias Shaw Digne (Stones Coufal)
    Bruno Gundo Salah Raphinha (Barnes)
    Kane Watkins DCL

    gw 30: Safe
    gw31: Stones to Rudiger
gw32: Barnes and Digne to Son and 3,9m def
gw33: Son and Kane to Vardy and high flying midfielder with good fixture (-4)
    gw34: Wildcard
gw35: Bench boost (if we get double gameweek)

    Thanks.

For 32 on top of son and Kane who’s best third spurs player to get ?
    A. Moura
    B. Reguillon
    C. Bale

Moura. I wouldn’t bother though. 2 is enough.
